Designer Pick of the Week: Nina Garcia/Gossip Girl fave Wolford tights

This week we borrow our designer pick of the week from Nina Garcia’s upcoming “The One Hundred.” A follow up to “The Little Black Book of Style,” “The One Hundred outlines the one hundred items every fashionable girl should own.

Wolford tights made the list, making them even more lustworthy in our eyes. Plus, we all remember when Blair deemed them the only thing you can get for $50 these days on Gossip Girl.

A lot of times we’re a little disappointed with actress Leighton Meester’s style compared to her on-screen character Blair. We know it isn’t fair to expect Leighton to be Blair, but… that doesn’t stop us.

But she did not disappoint in this beautiful Nina Ricci dress. She even takes it up a notch with Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry and Christian Louboutin heels and clutch.

It’s very modern-day Audrey and the way we wish Leighton would dress all the time. It wouldn’t hurt her image to differentiate herself as much as possible from boho hottie costar Blake Lively, and this glamorous look is the way to do it.

Just after we read about how bicycles are the newest “it” fashion accessory, this picture popped up in our inbox!

Leighton Meester, aka Blair Waldorf, was seen with an idyllic ride on the set of Gossip Girl. We wonder if these scenes were shot in the Hamptons or the city.

The perky Alice + Olivia dress she’s wearing sort of points towards Hamptons. We just can’t wait to see those episodes! Pick up Blair’s Garden Party dress here for $440.

Vanity Fair‘s annual ‘Young Hollywood’ issue has become an institution in its own right. And, as you can imagine, this year’s selected young crop of talent is very Gossip Girl-heavy.

GG‘s Blake Lively joins fellow starlets Amanda Seyfried, Emma Roberts and Kristen Stewart. Inside the issue, you can catch a glam photo-shoot by Mark Seliger, starring Zoe Kravitz, the Jonas Brothers, and Superbad’s Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

Gossip Girl goes to the Hamptons and gets more eps next season!

Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester may be visiting TRL in New York City in the photo above, but their on-screen counterparts will be hitting the Hamptons for their second season.

“Cause you gotta go to the Hamptons, right?” Leighton Meester told Eonline’s Kristin Dos Santos on the set of Entourage, on which Meester is guest starring next season. “And, by the way, we aren’t shooting in Staten Island like they did on Sex and the City. We’re shooting in the real Hamptons.”
