Get the look: Rihanna’s bandage leggings

By Andrea Petrou on January 5th, 2010

Rihanna leggings.jpgRihanna is well known for her choice of outrageous, yet always stylish outfits and there have been a number of times when we’ve prayed that we could afford just one little item from her huge wardrobe.

Well we’ve been given a very late Christmas present as we’ve just spotted the singer in Topshop leggings (well we said one little item).

The singer, teamed up her trademark shoulder pads and figure hugging PVC pants with the pair of bandage leggings from Topshop Unique to see in the new year, and she’s definitely made ours as a result.

For an every day look team these up with a mini leather skirt or jumper dress.

Get the look: Sienna Miller’s bikini

By Andrea Petrou on January 4th, 2010

sienna.jpgWhat do celebs do when the Christmas season is over? Hit the beach of course. A range of stars are beating the winter and post Christmas blues by going away. Kate Moss and her beau Jamie Hince hit the shores of Thailand, while Lily Cole and Lindsay Lohan have opted for St Barts.

However its Sienna Miller that really grabbed our attention. Taking a break with former, and if rumours are to be believed, current flame, the actress and fashion designer donned this cute Gingham and denim bikini for her sun baking time.

And while we might not be able to bring you the celebrity lifestyle and boyfriend we can tell you her two piece can be bought from Agent Provocateur. It costs £90 for the top and £55 for the bottoms. Buy it online now, and save it for your summer holiday. If of course you can’t wait until then, then you can always brave the frost and lie in the back garden.

Highstreet VS Deigner: Max C and Chanel

By Andrea Petrou on December 4th, 2009

Max.JPGHigh street stores are becoming more style savvy, creating clothes and accessories, which almost mirror those designed by high end brands.

Yes the fabric may not be as plush, and they are probably more prone to wear and tear, but, unless they’re classic wardrobe must haves, do you really need anything more? After all fashion changes so quickly.

So we were really pleased when we spotted this Max C bag, which is similar to Chanel’s quilted bowling bag. We would be more than happy to have this stylish high street alternative on our shoulder especially when you consider the whopping price difference.

Max C comes in at a very reasonable £40 compared to Chanel’s £860. Leaving us more than enough left over to get matching shoes and outfits.

Highstreet VS Designer: Scarves

By Andrea Petrou on October 2nd, 2009

QS Scarf.jpgIt’s getting closer and closer to the winter and that means we’ll soon be digging out our scarves, hats and gloves in a bid to stay that little bit warmer.

I love my scarves as much as the next girl and if I had it my way I’d have a few designer ones in my wardrobe ready to protect me from the biting chill of the ice and wind.

So when I stumbled upon this scarf by QS, I was thrilled. Not only does it look warm but I’m sure you’ll agree its very similar to the Missoni one pictured below.

Yes there are few differences, but its notably the price. My QS find is £4, compared to the £99 Missoni is asking for. Bargain.
