Halloween Costume ideas: Top five skull jewellery pieces
Halloween is almost upon us and we can’t wait. However, you don’t have to save your scary style until that party.
Instead we heart the idea of giving a subtle nod to the eerie evening a little bit beforehand with jewellery.
There’s a huge range of skull necklaces, rings and earrings out there at the moment, which can be worn to either complete that Halloween outfit or with a casual pair of jeans and smart top in the lead up to the night.
Go for a subtle skull necklace or bling it up with a diamante ring. Whatever you choose you’ll be scarily on-trend.

Halloween Costume ideas: Witch make up and how to get the look
As we’ve said numerous times throughout our Halloween Costume Ideas series there are sexy and fashionable ways to turn up to party.
You don’t have to go in full traditional zombie bride attire, nor do you have to cake on that make up to get that demonic look.
Last week we gave you a few pointers on how to be a fashionable devil and today it’s the turn for wannabe witches. You’ve got that sexy witch dress but covering your face with green paint and a hairy mole at the end of your nose won’t do you any favours.
Instead why not look for an obvious, yet subtle alternative. View the gallery below to get some tips on how to bewitch those eyes. Add black lipstick and you’re all set to go.
Pictures: Halloween Costume ideas – Devil make up and how to get the look
Gone are the days when dressing up as a She Devil for Halloween meant you had to coat your face in red sticky face paint.
As Halloween parties have become more and more fashionable so have the make-up looks associated with the traditional costumes and the devil look is just one example with many demonesses swapping the obvious look for bold eye make up that gives a nod to this look.
To get a look that screams She Devil, yet remains sexy start with a dark grey or black eyeshadow and coat your upper lid. Take the colour right up to the brow.
Once you’ve done this add some red shadow over the top of this, but keep it to the lid. Blend in to give a seamless look and add some thick black liner to both the top and bottom lids.
To complete the look add some bright red lipstick and you’re set to tempt any male at that party into being naughty.
See the gallery below for a list of everything you need to get the look.
Halloween Costume ideas: Fairy Make up
Yesterday we gave you some ideas on how to achieve that fairy outfit for Halloween and today we’re still flying high with this idea with some make-up ideas to complete the look.
The great thing about this make up is that you can go as detailed or subtle as you like. Go to extremes and go for a garden fairy look by using green shimmering face paint, adding red liner to eyes and red lippy to lips or add some flowers to hair for a more subtle look. If you want a softer look why not try feathered lashes or pastel eye and lip colours.

Halloween costume ideas: The Smurfette
Halloween is quickly coming up and time is running out to get that outfit. If you don’t want to go for that traditional cat or witch look and you’re worried that there will be too many Gleeks, then why not think about painting the town blue.
That’s right we’re talking about going as a Smurfette. The great thing about this look is that you can go as extreme or subtle as you like. Be brave and paint your body blue, or just go for some blue tights and add some blue eyeliner or shadow. Add a white dress, white shoes and hat and you’ve got a look even Miss Katy Perry would be proud of.

Halloween costume ideas: Jessica Rabbit
Gone are the days when Halloween parties were full to the brim of cats and witches with many of us looking outside the ghoulish box in a bid to make a lasting impression.
One costume that has been hot over the past few years is of course Jessica Rabbit and who can blame us ladies for opting for this look. Not only does it tick the fancy dress box but it’s also sexy and if you don’t go down the “ready made” route, relatively easy to put together.
Grab a red maxi dress from the highstreet or give the look your own twist with a shorter velvet number. Add some on-trend black or blue elbow length gloves and of course that statement red lippy and you’re bound to bag your Roger.

Halloween outfit ideas: The sexy Twilight vampire
With a nation going Twilight and vampire mad we’re sure there will be a huge number of you looking for that sexy vampire outfit this Halloween.
While many will choose to don that casual jeans and sweater look and claim they’ve come as “Bella Swan” there are others – us included – that will want to make more of an effort.
However, the days of the white face paint, fangs and cloaks are long gone and in their place comes sexy gothic. This can be anything from a burlesque style look – we’re thinking Interview with the Vampire style – to a simple velvet dress, which can be bought from the highstreet and vamped up with bright red lippy and heavy eyeliner.
We’ve picked our top five sexy vampire outfits for this year’s Halloween parties. See the gallery below.
Halloween costume ideas: The Spice Girls
As we pointed out yesterday, one hot Halloween trend this year is to dress up as celebrities and characters. Partly because it requires less effort and partly down to the huge celebrity world we live in.
And one look that’s set to be huge is the Spice Girl.
‘re not talking about the way they are now because that would be like wearing a posh dress to a party, more the way they were – think leopard print, garish trousers, checks and ginghams with the must have Union Jack dress.
That’s right Spice Girl mania is back for one night.
The great thing about this Halloween look is that you don’t necessarily have to visit a fancy dress shop. Scary Spice’s leopard print looks can easily be bought from the highstreet thanks to the leopard print trend thats clawed its way in this year, while Posh’s LBD can be bought nearly anywhere.
Sporty Spice fans can head to the nearest sports shop and buy a tracksuit and those who want to go all out in the Union Jack dress can get a replica from a range of fancy dress stores.
We’ve found all the best looks so all you need to do is click to buy.
