Plus, some great deals are to be had. The three selections above are only a few of the trapeze styles you’ll find, but they’re some of our favorites at the lowest prices, click through for more.

Perhaps more 80′s style coming back to haunt us, or taunt a new generation, cap toe heels are everywhere for fall. What do you think of this color-block style? It’s easy to go too childish or too matronly with these designs, so we’d recommend paying attention to the shape of the toe. More modern rounded points or peep-toes are flattering, as are slimmer heels. The pair above, by Guess for $110, are a bit flashy with the loud plaid pattern. What do you say, yay or nay?

While the maxi dress is everywhere this summer, there’s been some question as to whether or not the petite girl can really rock the style. I think Lindsay Lohan lays that debate to rest with a resounding yes in this Ella Moss Ursula dress, $178. Of course it helps if you have Lindsay’s thin frame, though we do not recommend her rumored appetite suppressant. This is honestly the best I’ve seen Lindsay looking in a long time, and it’s a shame that the stylish moment came only days before her latest arrest. While the specific dress seems to have sold out (surprise) various versions of the Ursula dress are sold at Shopbop and Revolve Clothing.

Take this look straight from the runway! A cropped, black leather jacket is a style staple, and the patent leather finish on this version from 3.1 Phillip Lim keeps the too cool topper modern. Which makes it a perfect Designer Pick of the Week.

While La Garconne, who sells the jacket for $794, recommends pairing the piece with dresses or jeans for work or play, we think this would make a great signature item. If it suits your frame – long and lean or evenly proportioned – or if you want to minimize a larger-on-top figure, wear it with everything!

The polar opposite of this past year’s skinny jeans, the retro-chic wide-leg jeans are back with a vengeance. While the super skinnies were a cute, sexy comeback, wide legs are a welcome change—they’re much more forgiving and easier to wear by all body types. Reminiscent of the ’70s flower child days (think Dazed and Confused), these bell bottoms make legs appear slimmer, as if they’re swimming in a sea of blue denim. The look is best worn with high stiletto heels that just peek out from under the hem. But be careful not to wear this style too long—it’ll create a sloppy, ’90s skater look; or too short—can you please tell me where the flood is? Get a pair in a darker color for the office or lighter, faded denim for a night out for $220 by People’s Liberation.

Check out the new fall fashions from MARC by Marc Jacobs on NeimanMarcus.com and you can enter to win a $1,500 shopping spree. Don’t be fooled, no purchase is necessary, click on the fine print at the bottom of the page to enter the contest. Also check out their exclusive video. It’s basically a moving catalog with a few attempts at arty touches, but it’s definitely worth while to see how a garment – like the multi-print jersey dress above, $328 - moves and looks “in person” rather than just a still photograph.
