From Catwalk Queen: Riding high on the coat tails of a supermodel resurgence is Vanity Fair magazine. The glossy is rumoured to be planning a mega cover for its September ’08 issue, featuring not one but six (!) of our all-time favourite supermodels on a special fold-out cover. Could there really be a cover reunion on the cards for Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Stephanie Seymour and Cindy Crawford? It seems likely… Hurrah!

American fashion isn’t just about New York anymore (just don’t tell New York – they won’t believe you anyway). And one of the cities which is really putting effort into scouting and promoting new design talent, with great success, is Chicago.

We can’t tout enough the usefulness of red accessories. They go with a lot more than you think, and punch up an otherwise basic outfit adding chic appeal.
It seems even Chloe is toning down the buckles and straps for fall, with a much cleaner look.
Looks like the former Mookah Kinney designer already has a celebrity following for her new line.
Ok, not a man exactly. In fact, it’s the comments. The comments are down.
This hurts me more than it hurts you, I’m sure. We’re working on fixing the problem, and we hope to see you soon! Remember you can still have your say on The Forums in the meantime.
Do you love fashion? Do you spend half your time on Myspace and Facebook anyway? This internship may be for you!
ShinyStyle is seeking a new media intern to update blogs and bulletins on social networking sites like Myspace and Facebook. You don’t need to live in New York, but if you do there might also be a chance to attend some fun events. Some writing for the sites is a possibility.
The internship is unpaid (Welcome to the fashion industry. And journalism.) but we’d be happy to do what it takes to get you credit for school. You must have 5-10 hours free per week and reliable internet access. Blogging experience a plus.
