Alexandra Burke.jpg Alexandra Burke was photographed at the airport wearing this new interpretation of a classic logo t-shirt. It's designed by Elegantly Waisted, who add embellishments to rock t-shirts with ribbon, buttons, appliques and lace, and costs £45. We've checked out the rest of the range - they've got tees and dresses featuring Guns n' Roses and Ramones logos.

Go to www.truffleshuffle.co.uk if you want to buy it. But remember the band t-shirt rule: if you haven't heard of them, you're not allowed to wear their t-shirt.

X Factor: Get Cheryl's look for less

cherylcole-2009nov14.jpg We think Cheryl Cole (or her stylist) must have been looking at our gallery of Strictly-inspired dresses, because on Saturday's X Factor live show she was wearing a sequined dress just like some of the ones we featured.

Of course, Cheryl's was Alexander Wang, not Dorothy Perkins, but at least we can get a similar look at a price that suits our budget. Cheryl's navy blue sequined dress is really wearable, and she looked great in it on Saturday, especially since it was a bit less experimental than some of her other outfits so far. Alexander Wang has had a really great year in 2009, so expect to see a lot more of his designs on celebrities in 2010...

Find a similar purple sequined number (minus the ruching) at www.dorothyperkins.com.

Chloe Sevigny bra.jpg

We know there have been some pretty horrible trends of late: crop tops, over-the-knee boots and day-glo fur (thanks, Dolce and Gabbana) to name just a few. But Miuccia Prada seems to be promoting another trend that two brave celebrities tried out at a Prada book launch last Friday.

Chloe Sevigny usually manages to get the balance right between quirkiness and sexiness, but this time her completely open blouse just looks a bit weird. We're not sure about the length of her skirt either - calf-length skirts are unflattering and nearly impossible to get right.

Zoe Saldana of Star Trek was pictured in a very similar outfit. We think she pulls it off a bit better than Chloe: she's lost the granny cardigan, her matching skirt and tights combo really lengthen her lower half, and I want her shoes. But you can still see most of her bra.

If young and beautiful female film stars can't pull this look off, then normal people almost definitely can't. But does that mean Chloe and Zoe shouldn't give it a try?

Prada featured crotch-length waders last season, so maybe we should just let them get on with it in catwalk-fashion land, and stick to what we know when dressing ourselves (most of the time, anyway). After all, if they didn't take the creative risks in the first place, we'd end up having to dress the same all the time.

Would you knowingly show you bra if it was part of a catwalk look? Let us know in the comments.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon - UK Fan Event Following the completely crazy, mega-huge success of the first Twilight film (and the books) Kristen Stewart has been in the media spotlight non-stop. But it's her fashion choices in the last few weeks during the promotional tour for New Moon, that have been getting our attention. Most recently she's been photographed in next-season head-to-toe oufits from the coolest designers, like this neon Proenza Schouler skirt and top - Dakota Fanning, also in New Moon, was photographed in similar furturistic-but-fun looks for the December issue of Teen Vogue.

We've also just found out that Bella and Edward from the films have been made into dolls by Barbie. We're not so sure Kristen Stewart's Barbie alter-ego looks as good as the real thing, especially when she's working the sheer panel trend as well as this in Balenciaga.

If you think someone you know would love a Twilight doll for Christmas (and let's be honest, don't we all), you can preorder them from Forbidden Planet.

Emma watson T.jpgEmma Watson's grown from a bright eyed, bushy haired child actress into a fashion icon in her own right and has come a long way from her Harry Potter days.

The starlett, who has modelled for Burberry, has been snapped on the red carpet wearing dresses we can only dream about but we're pleased to say we've spotted her in something we can all afford.

The style savvy actress was spotted at Heathrow airport sporting this pop- culture classic white I love New York tee. You can get your hands on it at Truffle Shuffle for a bargain price of £24.99.

blake.jpgMove over Jennifer Aniston and Victoria there's a new hairstyle trend setter in town.

According to The Cut, Gossip Girl Blake Lively has taken the crown for this seasons must have locks, with hairstylists across America claiming her tresses are the new "Rachel."

The Times has also said everyone wants her "extra long, ultra-shiny blond with a mussed-up tussle frolicking through the ends."

We think it's time to get the peroxide and curling tongs out.

Model Lara Stone is clearly putting her stamp on the fashion world.

She's been signed up as the face of Louis Vuitton and now we've come across this gorgeous fashion shoot she's done for the December edition of UK Vogue.

Shot by Mario Testino, Lara wears a range of satin, silk and feathered ball gowns with fitted bodices, which we think really brings home what Christmas party outfits are all about.

We can't wait to get hold of a copy, but here's a few of the pictures to keep you going until then.

Pixie.jpg

Get a celebrity styled T-shirt and do your bit for charity (can it get any better that this?).
Head down to River Island now where Alesha Dixon, Pixie Lott and Kelly Roland have been working with the retailer's young designers to refashion T-shirts into mini dresses and rock tees in aid of the Princes Trust.

We've had a sneaky look at the collection and have fallen in love with the zebra print fringed creation by Pixie, who said: "My T-shirt dress is everything it should be - cheeky, fun and cool." We quite agree.

The T-shirts are available online now and in-store from Friday. But hurry as we have a feeling these celebrity creations won't be hanging around for long

Get the look: Cheryl Cole's X-Factor ring

chryl.JPGWe never thought we'd be able to afford anything Cheryl Cole wore on the X-Factor, especially her jewellery but it seems as though all our Christmases have come at once.

Last night the style icon appeared on the show without her wedding ring but instead a stunning ring (aptly named On the Rocks) from the Daniel Swarovski 20th anniversary collection.

We must say we were eyeing it up with a certain amount of jealousy, but now we know we can buy it for £303, we're much happier. It's definitely something we'll be putting on our Christmas list.

Dannii.jpgWe've concentrated so much on Cheryl over the past few weeks that we've neglected to mention how good Dannii looks on this year's X-Factor.

However after her stylish appearances on both Saturday's and Sunday's shows, we feel she really deserves to be mentioned in our X-Factor style series.

While Cheryl opted for little dresses in black and red for both days, Dannii really shone through with a white Grecian off the shoulder frock on Saturday, which was designed by Ralph and Russo.

The 1970's inspired white silk dress, which had a thigh high split and swarovski crystal buckled shoulder sash, cost a bank breaking £1950, but we've had a hunt around and found this white frock with a corsage strap from Debenhams, which won't have you begging for an overdraft at £100.

Team up with a belt and sew on some crystals for an X-Factor style look.

Dolce & Gabbana Fragrance Scarlett.jpgScarlett Johansson is no stranger to the world of modelling and over the year has signed up for a range of lucrative shoots, including modelling a collection for Mango.

However, this time Scarlett has left the highstreet behind and taken on a far bigger project in the shape of Dolce and Gabbana.

The actress has become the new face of the brand's The One and L'eau The One fragrances, and we're sure you'll agree, that once again she pulls off the shoot, shot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, perfectly.

View the video below to see Scarlett in her full modelling glory.

2009 Film Independent Spirit Awards - Arrivals

We love Zooey Deschanel's kooky dress sense at ShinyStyle, and although she's not exactly a household name yet, she probably will be soon. Her last film 500 Days of Summer put her alongside indie film darling Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and while she earns even more cool points for being in a band, it's her personal style that really sets her apart from most other actresses. Her trademark bows, retro dresses and fringe (think Katy Perry, only a lot better) make it hard to believe she's nearly 30 - and proves there's no need to stop dressing in a cute way just because you're out of your teens.

We're guessing she's a fan of Luella, Karen Walker and Erin Fetherston, but you can get a similar look for much less - just remember to look in vintage stores too for retro accessories that Zooey would love.
