Beyonce Nintendo.jpg

We've fallen in love with Nintendo's Style Savvy game for the DS and DSI, which is our ultimate definition of fashion fun.

Afterall, what fashionista wouldn't love being able to run her own virtual clothing boutique, style customers and participate in catwalk shows?

And now it seems this game is about to get better.

Beyonce has decided to lend a hand and offer gamers the chance to style their virtual customers in the same clothes she wears.

She's giving Nintendo five designs from the real-life Deréon clothing line, created by herself and her mum, Tina Knowles.

Beyonce said: "Style Savvy is all about creativity and fashion, both of which are really important to me."

Although exact download dates have not yet been released, Nintendo has said it expects the designs to be available in the very near future. We can't wait, after all what could be better than a Beyonce fashion clone?

Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam

More times than not Rihanna manages to pull off styles no-one else would get away with.

She looked stunning in her risky structured and panelled tulle dress from Viktor & Rolf's spring 2010 collection, which she bravely wore to the Grammys and her videos have always been peppered with her kooky and daring fashion personality.

However, as much as we'd like to sing the starlets praises all the time, we can't find anything right with the outfit she decided to wear while perfroming at the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam this week.

The, outfit looks as though Rihanna's designer ran out of fabric, while she was making what we can only think is a catsuit and the white trimming looks as though it came straight from Santa's suit. Also underwear as outerwear maybe the new trend, but we're not sure if Rihanna got the look right.

Grammy Awards trend: Nude dresses

Comments (0)

Nude shades are going to be a big hit next season and it seems celebrities have already started wearing this trend.

Model and yummy mummy Heidi Klum showed off her pins in a nude short tunic style frock at this years Grammys.

Katy Perry also went for the same shade, but unlike Heidi opted for a long backless floor-length frock by Zac Posen.

And it was a nude mermaid look for Keri Hilson who arrived at the event in a stunning Dolce and Gabanna frock.

Who do you think wore this trend best? Let us know by leaving your comments below.

It was another evening of hair, makeup, heels and glam dresses for celebrities with the EMI Grammys taking place last night.

Singers and film starlets arrived looking turned out for the 52nd annual event in Los Angeles including Rihanna, who wore a gorgeous white high neck dress complete with feathers and sparkles. Beyonce, who scooped up a wooping six awards including song of the year, best R&B song and best R&B female vocal - all for Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), was also a winner in the style stakes wearing a plunge neck gold and white beaded dress.

And it seems white was the colour du jour for stars this year, joining Rihanna in the white stakes was R&B singer Toni Braxton, and country-pop singer Taylor Swift, who wore a white tunic style dress backstage before changing into a gorgeous sequined mermaid dress to collect her four awards.

Following the mermaid dress trend was Katy Perry who looked absolutely stunning in her sequined and organza frock next to fiance Russell Brand at the 2010 EMI Grammy Party at the W Hollywood Hotel.

It seems that celebrities are becoming as famous for designing than they are their other trade with many jumping in on a number of designer and highstreet collaborations. The latest in this long line is Pixie Lott.

Having already designed a range of charity T-shirts for River Island and Moschino, the kooky singer has now been asked to design two ranges of clothing for glam highstreet retailer Lipsy.

And it seems she's thrilled: "I love what Lipsy stands for and I am very excited at the thought of working with such a talented and creative team. It's going to be great fun," she said.

The star will create two lines for the brand. Pixie Festival will concentrate on vintage type dresses and denim and Pixie Party will go the complete other way giving us a range of animal prints and studs.

Posh and Becks are rarely out of the media spotlight and if you thought this year would be a quieter one for the couple then think again.

Victoria has already racked up inches as high as her stilletoes this month with news that she may be designing a hotel in Dubai with Karl Lagerfeld. And just in case we haven't seen enough of the pair, they're now appearing on his 'n' hers covers to mark the 10 year anniversary of 10 magazine.

In the first ever celebrity cover for the mag, which was shot by Cedric Buchet, both show off their toned gym bodies. Victoria kept it posh in a range of outfits including a nude Roland Mouret bodycon slip as well as a black bodice and all in one.

In an interview with the magazine she also hinted that her fashion collection wasn't going to disappear anytime soon, claiming: 'I still plan to be doing this in 10, 15, 20 years time, so it's got to be done right.'

However David chose to get all down and dirty for his cover. Hmm if our local mechanic looked like that we might not feel so upset about handing over those huge amounts of cash to get our cars fixed.

Are Alexa Chung's clogs the new summer Ugg?

Celebs at Chanel Fashion Show - Paris

Alexa Chung usually can't put a fashion foot wrong, but today may be the day when that all changes.

The model turned TV presenter was spotted at the Chanel Couture 2010 show in Paris wearing a pair of clogs from the designer's SS2010 collection.

We know they're meant to be for warmer days and we agree that Alexa has paired them up well with tights and a gorgeous frock from the Chanel collection, but we can't help thinking that these clogs may just actually be the new summer Uggs. You either love them or you hate them.

Get the look: Kim Kardashian's biker style

It's not often we get excited by a retail site, afterall there are so many about. However, one that's got us reaching for our purses is Yogo Ego.

The fashion and beauty site, which was launched late last year (yes we know we're a bit behind, but better late than never), has a range of designer brands including Disney Jewelley, Firetrap, Benefit and Lipsy as well as its own range, at some great prices.

And to celebrate our new find we've put together a gallery, with the the help of the company, showing you how to get reality star Kim Kardashian's on-trend biker style.

Trend alert: The Trench Coat

Comments (0)

Trench C.jpgEmma Watson's modelled it and now Victoria Beckham has shown how we should be wearing Burberry's SS2010 trench coat.

The ex Spice Girl, turned designer was spotted wearing the classic beige coat on two separate occasions over the weekend.

Once whilst shopping with her gorgeous other half and secondly as she was leaving the D&G headquarters.

We think a trench coat is perfect for those transitional spring evenings, providing a fashionable warmth without being too bulky, and it was one of the key items on the runways at last year's fashion week.

However, we think sticking to leggings and boots may be more of an option than Victoria's bare legs and skyscraper heels.

Lily Corsett.jpgWe've been banging on about underwear as outerwear for a while now, and we'll be reviewing a corset set later on next week, after we've attempted to wear it as outerwear in a few clubs.

However, we're still not 100% sure about the trend, which is has previously been sported by the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Britney Spears.

And these new pictures showing Lily Allen performing in a corset top made for underwear haven't done much to settle our fashion minds.

The pop starlet, who is no stranger to this style, wore a tiny lace-covered corset, teamed with Chanel mock-stockings for a gig in Australia and although she pulls it off better than some celebs we still don't know what to make of it.

What do you think about this trend? Does it work and would you wear it or do you think undies should remain firmly out of site? Let us know by leaving your comments below.

National Television Awards 2010 - Arrivals

X-Factor may be over until this Autumn but it didn't stop the programme scooping a range of awards last night, and we couldn't help have a last "who won the style wars" competition between the two female judges.

Pregnant Dannii opted for a 50s prom style striped dress, which she teamed up with gorgeous red shoes, while Cheryl went for an (extra) long grey frock with a plunging neckline. She finished off the look with grey 80s style cuffs.
For once we really can't decide who looked better on the night so we've decided to leave that to you.

Vote below and tell us if it was Dannii or Cheryl who won your style approval last night.

Who wore what at the National Television Awards

British stars turned up in their hundreds last night to celebrate the National Television Awards. As always there were winners (X-Factor, Ant and Dec and Dr Who to mention a few) and losers. However, we were more interested in what the stars were wearing.
The smart tone (let's face it the awards were hardly as glitzy as the Golden Globes) was demonstrated perfectly by a range of celebrities including Eastenders winner Lacey Turner who sported a simple yet sophisticated short black dress.

Mylene Klass also opted for a short pink jacquered frock, which we think resembles that worn by Sarah Jessica Parker at the Did you Hear about the Morgans? premier and similar to Megan Fox's Armani dress, which the designer then replicated and made available for us to buy.

While others such as Amanda Holden, who wore a white fishtail skirt and ruffled bodice went for a more glam look.

And of course there wasn't a shortage of the classic long black dresses with Louise Redknapp and Sugarbabe Heidi demonstrating how these should be worn.

We were also very surprised at how classy Jordan looked in her satin floral maxi dress. And it seems we're not the only ones with fake tanned twin Michelle Heaton opting for exactly the same frock in purple. Oh dear.

Get the look: Cindy Crawford's t-bar sandals

Cindy Crawford Style for JCPenney Launch Party

Cindy Crawford is known as one of the first top supermodels and although she may not strut her stuff on the catwalk as regularly as she once did, she's still up their as one of our style icons.

So we were thrilled when we spotted a similar pair of sandals to the ones she wore at a launch party late last year.

Cindy.jpg

The Margherita sandals from Geox have the same similar t-bar design to Cindy's black leather ones, and we love the zip detail on the heel too.

Head down to Geox now and for £85 you can turn the pavement into your personal catwalk and strut your stuff in a pair.

Who wore what at the Golden Globe awards 2010?

11th Annual Warner Brothers And InStyle Golden Globe After-Party
HBO's Post Golden Globe Awards Party - Arrivals

It was a night of winners and runners up in last night's Golden Globe awards and then went for both the fashion and award stakes. Celebrities flocked onto the red carpet for one of the biggest events of the year, which took place in Los Angeles and were hosted by UK home grown Ricky Gervais. So who rocked with their frocks?

First on our rocked list is Drew Barrymore who wowed the crowd with her champagne Atelier Versace, asymmetric dress, which was covered in Swarovski crystals. The starlet also bagged herself an award for her performance in Grey Gardens.
She was followed on the frock stakes by Jennifer Aniston and Penelope Cruz who opted for safe, yet classic black dresses to take them down the red carpet in style.
Other celebs were that little bit braver opting for this season's colours. This included Cameron Diaz who wore red, Sandra Bullock who chose purple and Maggie gyllenhaal who went for pink.

Luke Worrall for New Look's SS2010 campaign

Comments (0)

Luke W.jpg
We're slightly envious of Kelly Osbourne after seeing her beau modelling the lastest New Look designs.

The highstreet store known for it's collection of celebrity designers and models has snapped up Luke Worrall for its SS10 menswear collection.

We think the 50s inspired range, including jeans, chunky cardigans and duffle coats, plus a range of smarter wear really suits his cool look.

Just a warning Kelly. Don't let this one go.
