Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the "Salt" Première in Los Angeles Brad Pitt and Angelina made it clear that they've got their mojo back at Graumann's Chinese Theatre for the Los Angeles première of Angelina's new film "Salt", and are more of a power couple than ever - while recently in the past, the pair have appeared in public looking tired, tense and strained, yesterday on the red carpet they appeared more in love than ever.

Despite being under criticism for her skinny frame in the past couple of years, Ange looked healthy and radiant in a black, shimmering tube dress from Emporio Armani, with glamour-puss curls and Brigitte Bardot makeup. Other celebrities were copying her look - The Ring actress Naomi Watts wore an almost identical dress in silver. How embarrassing, Naomi. Brad was also looking his old handsome self, having traded in the dodgy mousy hair and beard (yay, he looks like Brad Pitt again) for cool Miami Vice-style aviator shades and classic men's tailoring in his Tom Ford suit.

Seeing this must be a bit of a kick in the teeth for Jennifer Aniston - Brangelina are looking as hot as they did when they first started getting it on for "Mr and Mrs Smith". Maybe they look so good because there's a sequel in the pipeline?

Happy Birthday to Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, highest-paid model in the world, who's turning 30 today.

Gisele was discovered at the age of 15 buying a Big Mac by a model scout (maybe I should hang around fast-food joints and kebab shops more), and the rest, as we say, is history. She moved to San Paulo to take part in the Elite Look Modelling Competition, her career skyrocketed, and has since modelled for all of the most prestigious fashion houses such as Versace, Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Chloe. She's also one of the most famous faces to have modelled for lingerie line Victoria's Secret, whose campaigns and runways have boasted such iconic figures as Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks.

She's been far from just a pretty face for the last fifteen years and has been actively helping out with charity-related events such as the I Am African campaign, which set out to highlight the public's ignorance of HIV and AIDS sufferers in Africa. She also participated in a celebrity-fronted fundraiser to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and regularly promotes the protection of the Brazilian rainforest. So basically, she's an all-round good egg.

Not only that, but she's the founder of Ipanema Footwear, manufacturer of the most popular Brazilian flip-flops in the world. So you'd think that after all the hard work she's been putting in, she'd look tired and haggard (we wish). But no, she still looks like a supermodel - happy 3-0, Gisele. Look at the gallery below for some of Gisele's best looks.

Barbados-born beauty Rihanna seems to giving everyone's favourite kook, Lady Gaga, a run for her money in the onstage stakes. Ri-Ri donned super-shoulders, a bright red mohawk and crotch-crunching high waisted knickers for her live show at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Vegas, where she proceeded to put on a pretty fantastic show complete with backing dancers dressed as soldiers, holding neon pink rifles, and a giant, pink tank. Which she straddled a lot. There were female backing dancers wearing what appeared to be yellow, metal bustiers too. Cool.

Looking fierce in her aforementioned shoulderpad/mohawk combo, Rihanna then upped the drama with a quick costume change into a sweeping, Victoriana-style black gown complete with flashing LED lights. A little bit eighties, a lot futuristic, the girl seems to have got her look down to a fine art now.

Rihanna's come such a long way from her initial rise to fame with "Pon de Replay", where headscarves, long girl-next-door hair and R&B attire was the look of choice. Now she looks like a different creature entirely -more like a pop superhero than the standard pop fare. It's refreshing to see female perfomers like Rihanna, Gaga and Katy Perry all getting more creative with their on-stage personas and performances; it's a new era for female singers, where music is less concerned with sex appeal and more about having fun (well, a bit of both, really, but music videos are way more fun and inspired than they've been in ages). Ri-Ri's had a pretty tough time of it in the last couple of years and it's great to see her looking sexy, confident and doing what she does best. Check the gallery below to see images of her pretty sensational stage show.

Its a busy week for couture as fashionistas flock from all over the globe to Paris, fashion mecca, to gawp at what fantastic creations our most beloved designers have made for the upcoming Autumn/Winter Season. All of the most stylish celebrities were out in full force to eye up the haute couture, including Anna Wintour (naturally), Leighton Meester, French wild child Lou Doillon, Blake Lively and Jessica Alba.

The event is nearly over (it ends on the 11th) but it hasn't disappointed in terms of spectacular design and craftmanship. Jean Paul Gaultier put on a sensational show that oozed old-school Hollywood glamour, sending models down the catwalk with cigarette holders and huge, Carmen Miranda-esque headpieces. The enticing blend of leathers, silks and furs really lent to the decadent vibe of his collection.

Valentino opted for romantic structuring in his collection; he showed us that the nude trend is still live and kicking as models walked the runway in creamy, peachy structures that were almost bird-cage like. A beautiful, dreamy collection of clothing, but probably the one of the least wearable things I've seen considering that you can't sit down in it. It'll be interesting to see how the high street tries to take influence from Valentino.

However, the favourite collection has to be (always has been, always will be) Chanel's A/W collection, where the order of the day seemed to be an explosion of metallics, embellishments, golds and silks. I died a little bit looking at this collection - it's disgustingly, incredibly gorgeous. I wish I was rich, or married to Karl Lagerfeld, or both. Words can't describe how sickenly beautiful his collection was, so check the gallery below. (Here's hoping Primark will start selling replicas of these dresses for a fiver).

Stars celebrate Wimbledon

Comments (0)

Wimbledon is well and truly in full swing and we've been watching with baited breath as the exciting games continue.

Also keeping close watch are a range of celebrities who have sat at the game or benefited from the pre Wimbledon parties.

Looking fresh faced and casual in jeans and a tee Shakira hit the stands to watch the game yesterday while other's partied the night away at the Slazenger Wimbledon Party held at Movida nightclub.

Snog, Marry, Avoid presenter and ex Atomic Kitten Jenny Frost was just one of these, turning up to the event in a cute white top and matching tennis style skirt.

She was followed by Kirsty Gallacher, who opted for an on-trend grey jumpsuit and Chloe Madely who played it casual in shorts and a cool white vest top. See the stars in our gallery below.

Victoria Beckham tore herself away from supporting her hubby's England squad last night (we know David isn't playing but he's still coaching) to attend the designer and celebrity fuelled event of Diane von Furstenberg's new interior design project with Claridges.

Posh stepped into the Claridges hotel looking stunning in thigh-high boots and gave a nod to the underwear as outerwear look with a gorgeous satin mini dress and corset detailing top.

She was joined by a very camera shy Gwenyth Paltrow who was snapped in her cab wearing, what looks to us like a plunge neck black maxi dress and split.
Others weren't as camera shy. Designer Tracey Emin went for a midnight blue strapless number, while Jimmy Choo queen Tamara Melon opted for a sleek black maxi.

Laura Bailey also gave a nod to Chanel's crochet trend with a white frock and black trimming. View all the fashions of the night in the gallery below.

It was a night on music, and prizes at the MuchMusic awards, held in Torronto on Sunday. However, this was one of the first awards this year where the stars didn't really shine with their outfits of choice.

Katy Perry hit the red carpet in a bright-blue Ashish mini dress with knot detailing on the side making before changing into high-waisted shorts and a bralet to perform her single Californian Girls.

However, her sexy outfit was overtaken by presenter Miley Cyrus who changed out of her body-con nude dress and into a a tiny black netted ensemble for her performance on-stage. But it didn't end there with the star changing again - this time into a stringy white leotard - for another song, and then again into a black leather frock to pose with her award.

Ashley Greene also turned up to the event in a textured Isaac Mizrahi dress with her Twilight co-stars Kellan Lutz and Xavier Samuel and just about pulled of a fashionable look. However it all went downhill for Ke$ha who gave a too big nod to the tribal trend, even bringing along a cultural tribal stick.

However our fashion award of the night goes to Whitney Port who graced the red carpet in a mismatch of florals (but it seemed to work) before changing into a sophisticated black frock and ankle boots for the afterparty.

Yesterday we bought you a brief round-up of some of the hats and fashion sported at Ascot Ladies Day. However, we didn't think that was enough judging by some of the crazy fashions out there so we've decided to bring you some more fab images of the day.

And if you thought Lady Gaga's headwear was crazy then prepare yourselves because racegoers really went to town this year. We spotted nods to the World Cup, odes to Alice in Wonderland and lots of floral fun. And it wasn't just the British public that wowed.

Louise Redknapp, with hubby Jamie in tow looked gorgeous in a black simple frock and headpiece and of course Jamie looked dapper in his black suit and bowler hat. Another dapper looking celeb was Dec who wore a morning suit and waistcoat for his appearance at the event. However, there's no doubt that the ladies looked so much better on the day.

View the gallery below for all the wacky hats and Ascot fashion.

Ladies Day at Ascot

Ladies Day at Ascot is always a huge event with fashionable frocks, feathers, fascinators and hats around every corner. And today was no different.

Princess Beatrice in a black and white assemble and Penny Lancaster, dressed in a purple frock and matching hat joined the group of racegoers who sported a range of fun headpieces from birds to huge out-there patterns.

However the award for the wackiest outfit of the day goes to the racegoer who opted for a little bo-peep style dress complete with a huge headpiece (below) scroll down to see some of our favourites of the day and look out for a gallery tomorrow.

And it's off. Royal Ascot has well and truly begun bringing with it fancy frocks, fascinators and of course celebrities.

Amanda Holden turned up to the day wearing a turquoise dress and wacky Alice in Wonderland inspired hat, she was followed by Danielle Lineker who turned heads in a cream figure hugging frock.

However, unlike Amanda the WAG went for a more traditional headpiece, opting for a cream hat with ribbon detailing. Holly Valance went in the opposite direction to Danielle opting for a black dress and matching hat.

However it wasn't just the celebrities that caught our eye. Other racegoers really gave us some sights this year with a special mention going out to the lady who wore, what looked like a real flower arrangement on her head. Lady Gaga you have some competition.

View our gallery below to see our celebs and best Ascot hat pics and let us know which one is your favourite by leaving your comments below.

There's always a night to attend when you're a celebrity and although some are as classy as Jordan, other's aren't a bad night out.

Last night's Samsung Galaxy launch, which took place at the Altitude Bar in London, was fortunately the latter and saw some famous faces turning up.

First on our best dressed list was Tess Daly who wore a cute denim on-trend shirt dress, which she teamed up with a white tassle bag. She was followed by X-Factor singer Alexandra Burke, who opted for a black lurex body con dress, and ex WAG Elen Rives who went for a loose white tops over short leggings. She finished off the look with sky high shoe boots.

Amber Le Bon also made an entrance in a rocker style jacket, while Naomie Harris went for dressed up chic in trousers and a top.

Not content with making us spend our hard earned cash keeping us up all night thinking about all it's latest styles, Topshop is now moving into the mini-festival space.

The highstreet clothing heaven is putting on a range of events called the "Topshop Bandstand Picnics", which will play host to a range of top bands, sports day games and make-overs.

However, we'll let it off for once again making us part with our cash as these events are for charity and being held in conjunction with the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The events, which will take place throughout June in London, Bristol, Liverpool and Birmingham, will be presented by T4's Jameela Jamil and Miquita Oliver, the first event takes place on 12 June in London's Regent's Park and as well as listen to music you'll also be able to buy fun cakes from Lola's cupcakes and one-off Topshop rain ponchos. And the more you buy the more money that will be raised for charity.

Grab your blanket and head down to one of the events. After all, it's for a good cause.

Lacey Turner-400.jpg

Saturday was one of the biggest nights for British soap with the annual British Soap Awards takining place at the National TV Centre.

Soap stars were out in full frocked up force with many trying to out do each other on the red carpet as well as in the best soap stakes and there were many gorgeous dresses that evening.

However, although Eastenders starlet Lacey Turner who plays Stacey Slater in the show, was commended for her performance winning both Best Actress and Best Performance we were disappointed in her plain scoop neck white outfit, which in comparrison to other star's frocks looked dull and plain. The shape also did nothing to flatter her figure, making her look more like a mini Pat Butcher at a wedding, than a young starlet.

However, her silver peep toe shoes did go some way to making this mistake up.

It's surprising as Lacey usually only pulls off the best frocks on nights such as these, all we can suggest for this mishap is that the star's nerves got the better of her fashion judgement.

Keep reading for more British Soap Awards fashion.

Never one to shy away from the lime light, Rihanna has pulled out all the stops on her 'Last Girl on Earth' Tour at the Gelredome Arena in Arnhem, Netherlands. Given the 22 year olds small stature she ensured no ticket holder could claim to not see her radiating on stage in a seven costume change extravaganza. She belted out her chart toppers, and pulled her show stopping moves in a risqué, body showing/ hugging array of space age spectacles. Emulating the unwearable couture styles of the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna dazzled her audiences in sequins, flesh coloured body suits, white mesh outfits, rear-revealing pvc outfits and a black and white outfit with huge puffballs on the shoulders. Reviewing the photographic evidence, one would of thought Rihanna's costume choices were destined for the archives of embarrassing costume malfunction, but given that not much was on cover when the costumes were working at full capacity, it appeared not to phase the 22 year old Barbados born beauty, who confidently strided across the stage with no thought to her current state of coverage.
Stage costume belongs to a whole other realm of the fashion endeavour, a world without the constraints of function, comfort, modesty and appropriateness. It is an art form, existing without the dulling down that occurs when fashion is modified to meet consumer demand. It can express, it can shock, it can surprise and it can amaze. In this regard, Rihanna certainly provided us with some sensational show pieces that push the boundaries of the acceptable and the expected.

bicester-village.jpg

Wednesday is usually a bad day for many of us.

You've got through Monday and Tuesday, yet the weekend still seems so far away.

However this week is different and we've already got that Thursday feeling since tomorrow is technically Friday in working terms.

In fact we're so excited about the long Easter break that we've been planning what to do already and one place we've decided is a must have for fashion fans to visit this weekend is Bicester Village.

The discount shopping centre, which houses brands such as Anya Hindmarch and Alexander McQueen, at discounted pieces, has teamed up with the British Fashion Council and launched a pop-up store for some of Britain's hottest young designers.

This means you'll be able to browse rails of clothing from designers such as Erdem and Mark Fast, which are said to be discounted up to 50%.

We're getting our purses and raring to go and we suggest you do the same this weekend as the pop-up store will only hand around until 7th May.
