Mary J Blige charity.jpg

It's definitely a month for celebrity and charity collaborations and next on the bandwagon is soul singer Mary J Blige.

The singer has teamed up with designer friend Catherine Malandrino to launch a T-shirt collection called FFAWN + Catherine Malandrino.

According to WWD, the collection features tunics with hand-painted messages such as "I'm Free" and "I'm Power." and a percentage of all sales will benefit FFAWN, the Foundation for the Achievement of Women Now charity set up by Ms J Blige started 2008.

Mary told WWD: "Catherine has been a dear friend of mine for years and, after she learned about FFAWN and our mission, she offered to create a T-shirt collection that would celebrate being women, being strong and being free. These are not your average T-shirts."

Lady G and Cindy for Mac.jpg

Yesterday we reported Lady Gaga was selling off some of her stage costumes to help raise funds for the victims of the Haiti earthquake, and it seems her goodwill doesn't stop there.

The singer and equally wacky songstress Cyndi Lauper will both front a range of new lipsticks for M.A.C. All sales of this collection will go to the M.A.C AIDS Fund, which helps those with the illness and HIV virus in Africa.

Miss G has also taken it upon herself to give women sex advice and encourage them to use contraception.

She told WWD: "When the guy that she's seeing says, 'Baby, it doesn't feel good when I wear that,' or 'Baby, it's just you,' you say, 'F--k you, I'm out of here.'"

"Buying condoms is seen as a male accessory. We were joking that we wish the lipstick had on the side, 'Where's my best friend, the condom? Come out with me tonight.'

More than just pretty face, hey Miss G? We wonder if she'll incorporate her wise words into her song lyrics too.

Lady Gaga auction.jpg

While a range of celebrities are designing clothes and accessories to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake, Lady Gaga has decided to spin things around.

The singer, known for her range of outrageous outfits has decided to give a few lucky people the chance to win some of her clothing.

She's auctioning off some of her stage costumes, including a jewelled skeleton bodysuit, from her Monster Ball tour on online auction site CharityBuzz and all profits will go to helping victims of the Haiti earthquake.

The auction closes in two weeks. Good luck.

Christina Aguilera for Marie Claire.jpg
Christina Aguilera has undergone a range of style changes since she popped onto our screens all those years ago.

She's gone from fresh-faced girl next door to dark haired (and sometimes scary).

However, it seems she's found her perfect look in these pictures for Marie-Claire.

The singer, shot by Peggy Sirota, poses in minimal make-up, which highlights her striking eyeliner in a range of different outfits including a bodysuit and cute sequined dress, which are dressed up with accessories.

We love the singer's shoot and hope she'll keep the style going.

Benjamin brady.jpg

His mum's a supermodel and his father's equally gorgeous so we weren't expecting anything less than cute from Gisele Bündchen's baby boy.

The 2 month old tot, who was born on December 8, and is the first child for the supermodel and the second for her husband,Tom Brady, made his first magazine appearance for Brazilian mag Quem, where he's pictured in his mum's arms while she was in Boston.

Wrapped up warm in a cute blue babygrow, it seems as though Benjamin Brady has taken after his father American footballer father, and if we're honest we may now just be a tiny bit broody.

Marc Jacobs and Nathalie Rykiel honored by French culture minister in Paris

Are some designers getting sick of celebrities taking up the attention in fashion week catwalk seats? If rumours that Marc Jacobs is not hosting a star studded row of seats at his New York show this week are to believed, then the answer could be yes.

The designer, who always manages to wow us more with his creations, than celebrity bums on seats, told NYMag: 'I'm not into the celebrity thing . . . like we used to. That's boring'.

In the past Marc has invited a range of celebs including Posh and Madonna and last year he even turned his attention to Lady Gaga, who was invited because she was performing at the after-party. However, it seems she was the final nail on the celebrity invite coffin as she famously missed his show because she arrived late.

After all the news about how much celebrities are paid to attend these shows, if this trend carries on to other designers there could be hole in their paychecks.

Dannii.jpg

Last month we reported on rumours that Dannii Minogue was going to be the new face of Marks and Spencer and guess what? She is.

The pregnant X Factor judge and singer will be appearing in the new spring campaign alongside current Marks and Spencer models Mylene Klass and Twiggy. She will also be joined by VV Brown, Brazilian supermodel Ana Beatriz Barros, and Lisa Snowdon.

However, it seems Dannii will not be following in Mylene's footsteps and showing off her baby bump during the campaign, as the ads are being shot right now and are due to be revealed next month. We can't wait.

London Evening Standard British Film Awards 2010 - Arrivals

Last night actors and actresses took to the red carpet for the London Evening Standard British Film Awards 2010.

Eva Green turned up at the event at the London Film Museum looking stunning in a black patterned dress where she also presented the award for best film.

However the actress best known for her role alongside Daniel Craig in the James Bond film Casino Royale, added in some of her well known eccentric style with her patent stripped shoes, which we think make her look like she stepped in two giant wasps.

But we think her little faux pas is more than made up with her hair and make-up. We think Eva looked amazing with her 20s style hair and the orange lipstick against her pale skin really gives her that flapper look.

Burberry Runway: Spring/Summer 2010 - London Fashion Week

Just when we though London Fashion Week couldn't get anymore exciting, Burberry throws another surprise into the stitching.

It's announced it will be streaming its Autumn/Winter 2010 catwalk show live in 3D to
a select group of editors and VIPs throughout Tokyo, Paris, Dubai and New York.

While we're watching the show which takes place at the Chelsea College of Art & Design in London, from our laptops, these select editors will be given specs designed by Christopher Bailey and treated to an amazing 3-D experience, which we dare say will be even better than Avatar.

Mia Storm.JPG

Be pretty in pink this spring with a new redesigned range of watches by Storm.

The funky watches have been created following many of us clamouring to get our hands on the older designs when they first hit the stores a while ago.

They've been redesigned in feminine gold and pink and we also love the Mia watch, which has also been designed in gold and red making it a perfect Valentine's present (start dropping hints now).

However, you better hurry as the limited edition pieces won't hang around for long.

The watches are available from Storm's 11 standalone stores, situated in London's Carnaby Street, Westfield Shopping Centre, Birmingham, Brighton, Bromley, Newquay, Truro, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Plymouth, and Watford.

Dunhill kisses.jpg

There's so many charity and fashion collaborations this year, that we're struggling to keep up. Not that we're complaining, they're all for good causes.

However, instead of the the number of designers who have asked celebrities to create clothing and accessories, Dunhill is just asking for famous ladies lips.

The Heritage brand will be hosting a charity auction in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity this Valentine's Day and has asked female celebs including Jerry Hall, Louise Redknapp, Gillian Anderson and Emilia Fox, to all plant a kiss on a Dunhill collar to support the cause.

It hopes these kisses will lead to the shirts being sold off at high auction prices when they are listed on Ebay, and all proceeds will be donated to The Prostate Cancer Charity.

In addition to the shirt bearing the mark of a celebrity kiss and autograph, each auction winner will also get a voucher for a Dunhill custom made tailored shirt, to be redeemed at Bourdon House. We think this would make an excellent present for your other half.

Beyonce Nintendo.jpg

We've fallen in love with Nintendo's Style Savvy game for the DS and DSI, which is our ultimate definition of fashion fun.

Afterall, what fashionista wouldn't love being able to run her own virtual clothing boutique, style customers and participate in catwalk shows?

And now it seems this game is about to get better.

Beyonce has decided to lend a hand and offer gamers the chance to style their virtual customers in the same clothes she wears.

She's giving Nintendo five designs from the real-life Deréon clothing line, created by herself and her mum, Tina Knowles.

Beyonce said: "Style Savvy is all about creativity and fashion, both of which are really important to me."

Although exact download dates have not yet been released, Nintendo has said it expects the designs to be available in the very near future. We can't wait, after all what could be better than a Beyonce fashion clone?

Premiere Of Paramount Pictures' "Up In The Air" - Arrivals

Cindy Crawford is one of those women we love to hate. She's beautiful, has a gorgeous figure and she's got brains.

Following the launch of her home collection at JCPenney, the US department store chain has now announced that it will be working with the supermodel to create a range of jewellery.

"One Kiss by Cindy Crawford," is claimed to be inspired by a henna symbol which means "kiss," and will include silver or gold necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.

Cindy said: "I am thrilled to expand my partnership with JCPenney and look forward to bringing my expertise to the fine jewelry business."

We hope the model's collection will be coming to the UK soon, until then you can buy the collection online.

Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture S/S 2010 - Giorgio Armani Prive - Runway

With the cold weather continuing to bite and the rain not looking like its going to pass anytime soon, heading out the the highstreet isn't looking too appealing.

In the past many of us have coped by buying the latest fashions from one of the huge range of online stores.

However, for those who like the designer delights of Bond Street, choices have been limited, until now that is.

Armani has just relaunched its website, bringing all it's collections together and offering the chance to buy some beauty and fashion items as well as watches and branded mobile phones online.

Log onto the site and you'll find Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Armani Collezioni, Armani Jeans, Armani Exchange, Armani Junior and Armani Casa.

And you'll also be able to view and comment on the collections through a dedicated Facebook page and YouTube channel.

We think this is a genius idea, but we think we may have to find an equally clever place to hide our purses and credit cards.

Get FLOWE(RED) this Valentines day

Cat Deeley Launches Red Charity Online Flower Service

We know we're more fashion than flowers, but with Valentines day approaching we thought we'd make a little exception, especially as it's for a good cause.

Cat Deeley has launched FLOWE(RED)™, a new online flower service, which gives all the profits from each bouquet sold to helping provide medication and treatment for those living with HIV in Africa.

Although many of you may be angling for a new bag or shoes, we think receiving a gorgeous bunch of flowers that will, in theory, continue to spread the love well after they've died is more than enough of a reason to drop floral hints to your other half.

Prices range from £20-£65.
