Kate Bosworth is the little fashion maven these days, isn't she? Arguably, this isn't exactly her most fabulous fashion moment, but wearing these heels from Chloé's Spring Summer '08 collection, you can't fault her for trying to do something different. (Oh, and check out her Chloé Saskia bag!)
The shoes might be a little out-there (and not to mention, beyond budget) for some, so here's some 'inspired-by' alternatives to achieve a similar look.
Product details after the jump.

This may look like a handbag for a very chic Barbie doll, but at $1,195 you won't find this Loubinette pouch bag at Toys 'R' Us. It's just in at Net-a-Porter.
The cutesy-cutesy look of this hot pink satin bag only makes it more covetable for the girlie girl. But what about Louboutin's Passmule Zeppa wedges in hot pink? Keep reading.

When I see a classic pair of pumps like this, in a color that would go with anything, it's when my willpower against designer names starts to crumble. A Marc Jacobs shirt would be much easier to pass up - I could just go to H&M and buy three shirts almost as cute and still less than the MJ original. But shoes and bags... an entirely different story. If you agree, keep reading for details on the shoes.

If you're a fan of Via Spiga shoes, you've got two reasons to celebrate. One, the brand should become more visible and easier to find as they open new stores. And two, they're luanching a new handbag collection in July.
The discounts can be pretty big at the Bloomingdale's Private Sale, but instead of just piling items in your arms (or your online brown bag) why not navigate the savings with savvy? We've got the goods on the categories you care about after the jump.
New York Magazine unearthed this video of many many models falling on the runway, including Stam's infamous misstep. If you've ever took a dive in killer heels, this will make you feel better. At least the whole fashion world wasn't watching.

I'll admit a certain suprised skepticism when I first received Fragrant Footings scented insoles, $15 for two pair, in the mail. But then a memory came to me, the memory of a 12-year-old best friend we used to physically hold down on the camp bunk to spray her feet with perfume. Said friend grew up to be a very fashionable lady, and so I knew that the need for scented insoles may very well be pressing for many fashionistas.
It's spring trend week, and on Wednesday we showed you the best of nautical on the runways. Now we'll show you some great, affordable pieces to inject the look into your wardrobe.

Looks like we'll have more accessories to lust after at J.Crew as they unveil their extended assortment and a new accessories-only catalog this Friday.
The assortment also includes the new J.Crew fine jewelry collection. These pieces are a bit more formal (and expensive) than the costume jewelry line.
To get an idea of the prices, a 10-karat gold boule ring with pearl is $495 and a ribbon-tied long pearl necklace is $200.
"This is our first foray into fine jewelry," Creative Director Jenna Lyons Mazeau told WWD. "We want to be approachable."
The new variety of bags, shoes, and jewelry is already available on J.Crew.com.

For many of us, booties themselves were questionable enough. So what do you think of this Christian Louboutin cutout bootie, $860?
And furthermore, when you see a shoe or bag or any item that you're not sure about - does it help sway you when it's by a favorite designer?
Would you buy a shoe by Christian Louboutin that you would never buy from a less iconic designer? Why?
If you're headed somewhere beachy but want to look more fashionable than freshman amongst the spring breakers, here's our outfit picks. It's always a good idea to stick with a simple color palette when packing for a short trip to maximize combinations. We went with the whites and greens of J.Crew's trastevere halter bikini, $110, - our focal point for this look.
We know, we know, we're just knocking back our February Elle while everyone else is reading the Amy Adams issue already.
But what made us feel better about being behind the times? We notices a lot of affordable footwear in the Elle shops section, and some of it is now on sale to boot!
These shoes look like they cost considerably more than they do, especially when included with editorial selections pricing in the thousands.
