Sex and the City Necklaces.jpg

The frenzy surrounding Sex and The City 2 has well and truly begun. Earlier this week we published the official trailer, which made us all giddy with excitement, and it seems other companies are also jumping on the bandwagon.

One such brand is American company Dogeared, which has just launched a range of cute necklaces inspired by Carrie's and the rest of the characters' most memorable quotes.

These include charms such as a diamond, stiletto, and the Eiffel tower, on gold or silver chains, which come attached to cards featuring quotes like "I've been dating since I was 15. I'm exhausted! Where is he?" and "I'm not afraid of heights."

Although they might not bag you that Mr Big, We think these kitsch pieces of jewellery, which come wrapped in a black and pink satin pouch, are a perfect gift for a BFF or a treat for yourself.

They will be available later on this year from HBO and Dogeared.

Malaria ring.jpgGet a charity buzz and some funky jewellery with this unique limited edition mosquito ring from Asos.

The ring, designed by A-list celebrity favourite, Stephen Webster, has been created to raise awareness of the dangers of Malaria amongst UK travellers and has already gained celebrity support. It was spotted on the dainty fingers of Victoria Beckham.

And if this wasn't enough to get you flying around with excitement then you'll also be pleased to know that all proceeds go to Malaria No More UK, which helps prevent the spread of the disease.

Get one of the 360 rings round your little finger before they buzz off.

Marc Jacobs bangles.jpg

If you're looking to update your wardrobe for spring with some fun new accessories, I think these Marc Jacobs Collection resin bangles are a great way to go. Fun colors and designs make them a little different and definitely Marc.

To really see how cool they are don't rely on the image at right, but click on the link above and use the zoom feature to check out the sparkly, spacy inlay. I have a feeling these are one of those things you'll stare at all day when you wear them.

For around $350, they are a pretty penny, but I know I'd get a lot of use out of them.

Bing Bang by Anna Sheffield brass cuff

Blue Brass Mixed Chain Cuff 2.JPG

I have to say I hope cuffs never go away. I know, I know, they'd come back around again. But I'm not ready to let them go. With statement necklaces all over the Fall 09 runways, statement bracelets are surely still in the running for spring.

This blue brass mixed chain cuff by Bing Bang by Anna Sheffield was part of a collaborative presentation with clothing designer Bensoni during fashion week. With the lasting precious materials Sheffield is known for, this is no Forever 21 throwaway, but it won't break the bank either. The designer's Bing Bang line is more affordable and brass cuffs are generally in the $200 range.

We were backstage before the show getting an up-close look at the shoes and jewelry that really helped Badgley Mischka's designs sparkle.

Bargain pick of the week necklace.jpg

Apparently we're a bit fixated on necklaces this week, but if you can't afford Drew Barrymore's $270 necklace, this one from Forever 21 is equally statement-making.

This gemstone necklace from Forever 21, $7.80, dangles faceted clear and gray gemstones from a gunmetal chain and black grosgrain ribbon for a look that can go goth or glam.

Necklaces like these are one of the best ways to jazz up your LBD, especially if it has a higher neckline that makes the necklace look more like part of the dress than an accessory.

Drew Barrymore necklace.jpg

Drew Barrymore has experienced something of a style resurrection of late, and is now about town with a new do and some fabulous accessories.

The actress was recently seen out and about wearing this statement necklace by Fiona Paxton. We love the swingy silver strands and can't imagine what they'd do for a LBD if they look so cool with a rocker T.

The necklace is available at debut, in New York City for $270.

10 under $100 1.jpg

We wrapped up $20 gifts under $200 and are on to the $50-$100 price range. The first thing we looked for? A fab coat for gifting to your favorite girl. We like this Gap plaid belted coat, on sale for $94.99, because the plaid can be a little holiday, a little preppy or a little indie depending on the giftee's style. It's a little something different for the girl who usually sticks to pea coats.

20 under $200 11.jpg

You get some of your greatest shopping ideas from your friends, right? Me too! So for the next few items in our gift guide I've kind of copied off of my friend Jill's Christmas list (maybe I should let her husband know!).

The Frye Harness boots, $198, aren't going anywhere. They've become one of the modern classics of affordable boot styles that you know will stay en vogue for years to come. A little bit cowboy boot, a little bit motorcycle boot, this style takes cues from both of those but makes them cleaner and straighter.

Check out items one through five here, and six through 10 here, or keep reading for 12 through 15!
