Breast Cancer Awareness Ts.jpg

The pink frenzy of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is almost over, so your chance for charitable shopping is quickly coming to a close.

Why not snap up one of these limited edition Shopbop Bop Basics tees designed by celebrities like Nicky Hilton, Hilary Duff and Cindy Crawford.

We like Jamie King's floral print and dare we say Denise Richards' girlie shoe design. The shirts are $88 with 50% of proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Network of Strength.

DePLOY recently opened up a London flagship, but being stateside we're more interested in their online shop. Unlike many foreign retailers' Web stores, it does have an American-friendly shopping option.

Preen for Net-a-Porter on sale tomorrow

preen_fornetaporter_preview.jpgAs Kim mentioned last month, Net-a-porter.com is about to get an injection of Preen, with an exclusive capsule collection.

The Brit designers have created six gorgeous dresses especially for the online retailer, available in metallic black, blue, and fuchsia.

Here is a preview of one of those frocks (pictured right), called the Power Dress which is nipped in at the waist and puffs out into a tulip skirt - love it.

There is also the Love Dress, a pencil skirt style, and the Club Dress, a cape-like design.

The collection hits the online shop tomorrow - so keep Net-a-porter bookmarked.

Rachael Ray's style finds

Rachel Ray style finds.jpg

Rachael Ray might not be known for her cutting edge fashion sense, but we have her talks how on at the office once in a while and we enjoy her fashion and beauty segments. Especially when she has the audience vote on which outfit was cheap and which was expensive - we're very good at that.

So, we're definitely interested in the style section of Rachael Ray Everyday Faves.

Shop for fashion, beauty and home accessories or check out the fun tab for quirky gifts like a Lady Bug iPod speaker/doc.

Vote for tee.jpg

Gap won't tell you who to vote for and neither will we, but they do have a new T-shirt that's easily customizable if you'd like to be a bit louder with your politics!

The Vote T, $15, features the words "vote for" and a blank line that Gap suggests filling in with things like love, peace, music, laughter, etc. Or you can leave it blank and just let it speak for voting itself!

There are also "vote for" buttons for your Facebook page, click here to take a look. (And hey, while you're on Facebook, join our blog network!)

Comme des Garcons for H&M: the lookbook

Okay, so we know that being the style-savvy folks that you are, you have already seen the full line from Comme des Garçons for H&M. But have you seen the actual lookbook... eh? No relief has come in terms of the prices - which have been said to be ridiculously high. So we're kind of hoping the blogosphere backlash will have them rethinking some of them. For now, sit back and enjoy our gallery of images courtesy of Rei Kawakubo's forthcoming collection for the retailer - oh, and don't forget to tell us what you think by leaving your comments. Lovenia spring 2009.jpg

Romance has not been the order of the day on most spring runways, but those who pine for ethereal dresses need not be disapointed. Subtle, beautiful details make Lovenia's spring 2009 collection something to look forward to.

Elizabeth & James Steve Madden collaboration.jpg

It looks like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are continueing the expansion of their Elizabeth and James line.

After doing a line of jewelry with Robert Lee Morris, the twins are now teaming up with Steve Madden on Elizabeth and James shoes.

The question our friends at Fashionista are asking is will they be affordable shoes a la Madden's usual sold alongside $700 dresses, or will we be seeing the advent of $500 Steve Madden pumps?

It's almost hoodie season!

If you're spending any of your evenings outdoors you've probably already started pulling out your hoodies, and our surfer sisters over at Nollie have some new ones for you to check out as well.

The finest seller of action sports apparel on the web, Blue Tomato have just got a fresh new batch of autumn (aka fall) threads in for your delectation. (if the prices come up in British pounds, just click on change currency to get them in US dollars.) One of the most extensive ranges online, I'm especially stoked with their huge selection of hoodys; bright, light and tight these'll keep you toasty when the September cold kicks in.

For more on surf, skate, snow and style, check out Nollie.

MM Couture fall 2008.jpg

Don't think we haven't noticed the little nip in the air, even as we're reporting on Spring 09 fashion weeks. The day is not far off when you need to slip into a chic little coat or sweater, and we're showing you some cute options from Miss Me.

We first discovered this brand when Mischa Barton checked out their MMCouture line over the summer, and were very excited to get our hands on the fall lookbook.

Painterly prints - collage 1.jpg Click images to enlarge.

Now that the madness of New York Fashion Week has ended, I have a bit more time to contemplate what I saw walking down the runways. Florals were big again for spring, but there were fewer romantic gardens and more modern, artistic looks. I loved the long brushstroke stripe-y feel of the prints at Rodarte, Michael Angel and Diane von Furstenberg, above. While Kate and Laura Mulleavy used their swirling colors to create movement and add shape to stunning effect at Rodarte, Michael Angel's watercolors were my favorites. The fluidity of the print gives the fluidity of the fabric an extra oomph, making it more chic than boho. Sure, a hippy-chick might wear these shapes, but she's no flower child living in a van. She has a more meticulous, cultivated look. Diane von Furstenberg's prints were just perfect for a party, they look fun and easy. Just what you want after being released from winter's layers.

To see how desigers rethought florals for 09, keep reading. Also, to see more pics and a review of each collection, click on that designer's name.

We showed you Hollywould's ready-to-wear collection yesterday and now we're back with what the brand is really known for - shoes. (Bags, too!) You'll see some of the muted pastels and sea-inspired hues of the clothing line, but more brights and variety.
