This is another one of those bargain picks where the term bargain is relative. This Prada fabric bag is on sale for about half off at $468. The chain handle and details on this bag make it look more expensive than it is, and we like that it's a brown evening bag instead of a black one. It's something you might not already have in your closet and a little more distinctive.

Browsing the Shopbop sale, as we are wont to do, we came across this Alice + Olivia diamond shift dress on sale for only $89.10 - that's more than half off! Only a size large is still available, but given the cinched waist, straight fit and designers' habit for cutting small, we think a medium would fit into this fine. Layer it and you have a professional yet stylish look for work, just be sure to wear tights and flats to keep the mini from being too sexy.

Since we were raving about Basic Boutique, we decided to do some shopping and came across this blouse from Jovovich-Hawk. The basic white button down gets a dose of style with three-quarter puff sleeves and a bow at the neck - trendy without overdoing it. And it's currently on sale for $132, down from $264.

Overalls are clearly out, as we learned on Project Runway this season, as if we didn't already know. This dress may have an overall-type flair to it, but as the name implies it's decidedly more jumper or suspenderish. And hey, suspenders recently weathered a brief comeback!

Perhaps we should go into fashion apologetics. While we contemplate this trailblazing career we want you to check out the Laila Azhar suspender jumper on sale at Intermix. It's down to $109 from $395. That's a chic boutique dress for a Banana Republic price.

Cheap by no stretch of the imagination, but a bargain maybe. This brown leather beaded Fendi Spy bag is marked down from $2,499 to $1,810.

If you've been in the market for a spy or had your eye on this one in particular, then that's probably a good deal! It's all relative, after all.

We like that this bag has a rock and roll feel without going all out with studs. The beading is a bit more subtle and really highlights the proportions that make a spy bag a spy bag.

You've been stashing all your money since the holiday because you went crazy with gifts...totally understandable. But now, sales are starting to look really enticing- so spoil yourself a little more! These glitzy t-strap pumps claim to have the comfort of an athletic shoe, and we think when they're on sale for $109.97 is the perfect time to test them out. The fully supported footbed acts as an orthotic so you can make it to midnight and beyond on New Year's Eve (remember negative $5 overnight shipping). So here's your weekly sale roundup: everybody's having a sale. Same-level department stores are all having pretty much the same sale, offering the same deals on shipping until about the same point. So we just thought we'd show you a highlight. This Diane Von Furstenberg dress could be yours for just $127 with a discount applied at checkout. That is an excellent price for a designer wool dress.

A lot of the L.A.M.B. stuff is very cute, just maybe not worth $365 ... like this cashmere lyrics hoodie. Yes, the cashmere might make you think it's worth the price, but no, because it's really 55% cashmere and 45% viscose. Hmmph. But now that it's on sale for $98 I'm a bit more forgiving. It's got some Gwen Stefani lyrics on it, so if you find her songs annoying you may want to pass (and say a silent prayer of thanks that she's finally back in the studio with No Doubt), It's available now in the Kitson Web-exclusive sale.

Sure, you could spend $8,584 on the Alexander McQueen feather hem dress that's 20% off, but to us that's not a sale price. So we perused the lower end of the dress sale going on now at Net-a-Porter to bring you some affordable gems. The Nanette Lepore Roccoco tank dress, at left, is on sale for $136.50 and would be super easy to layer for winter wear. In the middle we've chosen a Diane Von Furstenberg dress - since she's one of the first names we search for when we see Net-a-Porter's having a sale. This Elisa lace dress is only $227.50. And at right is a more casual Day Birger et Mikkelsen Venetis tunic dress for $168.
