Paloma Faith on the front row at the Ashish Spring/Summer 2012 show during London Fashion Week at Somerset House, London.
Day 2 of London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012 saw Pixie Geldof and Jamie Winstone in matching colour for House of Holland. Singer Ellie Goulding also made an appearance at HoH, while American socialite Olivia Palermo headed to Jaeger.
Saturday also had the grand dame of British fashion Vivienne Westwood on the schedule, attracting celebs left right and center. Sadie Frost looked stunning in a white shimmery gown, while fresh out of Celebrity Big Brother Pamela Anderson opted for a more low-key black number.
Paloma Faith – who appears to be everywhere this LFW – was snapped in less than three outfits one crazier than the other. I quite like her cherry fascinator though… Where can I get one!

X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke has come a long way since her victory on the TV show.
And as her talent has grown so has her style. Gone are the trackie bottoms and Ugg boots and in have come the little dresses, leather shorts and on-trend jackets.
However, while some divas may have shunned the highstreet for designer brands Alex hasn’t forgotton her roots and is regularly spotted in items from Topshop, Truffle Shuffle and Dorothy Perkins.
We show you how to get Alexandra Burkes cute, casual and sexy looks.
Alexandra Burke may have hit the headlines for having a very public snog with Kelly Brook’s ex Danny Cipriani, but it didn’t stop her looking glam when she was spotted at Heathrow airport this weekend. The X-Factor winner arrived back into London from Glasgow where she had been performing on at the In:Demand concert in skinny jeans, a printed tee and a waistcoat. She finished off the look with funky square glasses.
Alex was also joined at Heathrow by The Saturdays starlets Una Healy and Vanessa White. Una opted for a bodycon skirt, festival hat and boots while Vanessa went for casual jeans and Ugg boots.
In the centre or London Leona Lewis showed off her curves in a tight pencil skirt and crop top at Whisky Mist, while Coco Summer went for the preppy look in a blazer, shorts and brogues to celebrate her birthday at Nobu.
However, the best dressed prize of the weekend goes to Paloma Faith who turned up at the Radio 1 studios in quirky yellow platforms, a multi-coloured waistcoat and a statement headpiece to rival Lady Gaga’s.
There’s always a night to attend when you’re a celebrity and although some are as classy as Jordan, other’s aren’t a bad night out.
Last night’s Samsung Galaxy launch, which took place at the Altitude Bar in London, was fortunately the latter and saw some famous faces turning up.
First on our best dressed list was Tess Daly who wore a cute denim on-trend shirt dress, which she teamed up with a white tassle bag. She was followed by X-Factor singer Alexandra Burke, who opted for a black lurex body con dress, and ex WAG Elen Rives who went for a loose white tops over short leggings. She finished off the look with sky high shoe boots.
Amber Le Bon also made an entrance in a rocker style jacket, while Naomie Harris went for dressed up chic in trousers and a top.
It’s a day for celebrity endorsements. Firstly we told you that Alexa Chung would be fronting Lacoste’s new women’s fragrance and now it seems X-Factor singer Alexandra Burke has too landed herself the role as the first ever brand ambassador for Sure Women deodorant.
The glamorous pop diva will star in an advertising campaign for Sure Women, which will debut on TV screens tomorrow. It will give fans a glimpse into Alexandra’s busy new pop star lifestyle.
Alexandra said: “I’m really excited to be working with Sure Women. It’s my favourite deodorant brand and it’s always been a part of my daily routine. With my demanding schedule, Sure is the only deodorant I can trust to keep me feeling100% fresh and dry all day long.”
Katie Scott, Sure Women brand manager, added: “Alexandra is a glamorous, and confident woman with a really demanding lifestyle and is the perfect person to front the new Sure campaign. Our range is formulated to offer 48 hour expert protection, so Alex can put it on in the morning and carry out her busy schedule without worrying. That’s why Sure is loved by women everywhere, including Alexandra.”

It’s finally happened. The SATC2 film has officially opened in UK cinemas today. And last night the stars, and of course our four favourite girls, were out in force to celebrate the London Premier.
We were lucky enough to get there and see all the action for ourselves, and unlike many premiers where the stars pose for a second on the red carpet before being pulled away, the four girls were more than happy to talk to all their fans from the balcony of the Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square.
Sarah Jessica Parker turned up to the event in a strapless black Alexander McQueen wiggle hem dress and bag and heels. She also, as predicted, went for a huge attention grabbing black hat by Philip Treacy (be careful Lady Gaga someone may be stealing your headpiece crown)
She also made a tribute to the late designer, saying: ”There’s only one person I could have worn tonight and that was Alexander McQueen. Lee, this is for you. I miss you very much.”
The fashionista then changed into a blue long gown for the afterparty held at the Orangery in Kensington.
Kristin Davis also wowed us on the red carpet with her vintage gold empire line Norman Norell halterneck gown, which she teamed with Jimmy Choo shoes, before going for a green taffeta frock for the after party while Cynthia Nixon went for a turquoise frock by Narciso Rodriguez, which she teamed up with Christian Louboutin shoes. She too changed into a shorter, more casual black and white patterned strapless dress for the afterparty.
However, Kim Cattrall kept her black Thierry Mugler gown and Manolo Blahnik heels on for both events, and unlike the other stars who were rumoured to have left the afterparty after only two hours, Kim rolled in at 1:30.
Other guests we caught on the red carpet were Alexandra Burke, Rachel Stevens and Tess Daly. We won’t spoil the film for you, but we will say expect lots of laughs and definitely make it a night out with the girls.

It seems Alexandra Burke is following in the steps of her X-Factor predecessor when it comes to style. The songstress, who won the competition last year was spotted at the Spirit of London awards last weekend showing off the latest must-have celeb trend – the Love Bullet.
Love Bullets, which have also been spotted on the likes of Cheryl Cole, Jaime Winstone, Jodie Kidd and Pixie Geldof, is the inspirational idea of designer Martin Jegede.
The Love Bullet, worn as a necklace, is created by elegantly adorning a decommissioned bullet with a Swarovski crystal, thus transforming a thing normally associated with war and violence to something of style and peace.
And it’s also ethical with at least £1 of each Love Bullet sale donated to the charity GUA Africa, which works with individuals, families and communities in the Sudan to help overcome the poverty and destruction left by war.
We think this is a celeb trend we’ll definitely be following especially as prices start at a very reasonable £30. By it from www.lovebullets.co.uk.
Alexandra Burke was photographed at the airport wearing this new interpretation of a classic logo t-shirt. It’s designed by Elegantly Waisted, who add embellishments to rock t-shirts with ribbon, buttons, appliques and lace, and costs £45. We’ve checked out the rest of the range – they’ve got tees and dresses featuring Guns n’ Roses and Ramones logos.
Go to www.truffleshuffle.co.uk if you want to buy it. But remember the band t-shirt rule: if you haven’t heard of them, you’re not allowed to wear their t-shirt.
Reality stars are making more and more of an impression in the rarified world of fashion magazines. Alexandra Burke has been shot for the December ‘British talent’ issue of Wonderland magazine by Mariano Vivanco, following in the footsteps of previous X Factor winner, Leona Lewis, who made the cover of i-D Magazine last December. Cheryl Cole was on the cover of UK Vogue earlier this year, another former reality star who’s gained credibility in the fashion industry. And who could forget Susan Boyle in Harper’s Bazaar (that one’s a joke).
Alexandra looks great, but the edgy styling is the sort we’ve seen plenty of recently – black leather can only be so exciting. Let’s hope her next shoot is more original.
