We love the return of all our favorite supermodels to the scene.
One of the latest to reinvigorate her public profile is the 43-year-old Linda Evangelista.
She has now been confirmed as the face of the fall Prada campaign after wearing a frock from the designer to the recent Brooklyn Ball.
Ann Taylor may not be the most high-fashion option, but for workwear and classic basics, you really can’t beat it. Especially when they’re having a sale – like their Cyber Monday sale. While we love this red silk stunner for holiday, under a blazer it could totally go to work practically year round.
Some people see Ann Taylor as a bit uptight and conservative, but they really have the trends down to a ‘T’ this season. Their Fall Runway selection includes all the top styles with the option to buy the complete outfit, so you don’t have to worry about going from store-to-store for each piece. There are two categories to choose from–Early Fall and Late fall–both had hot designs, but I thought the Late Fall was a bit more in tune with the top trends, except for the fitted white blouse with pencil skirt and patent leather peeptoe pumps, (total: $344) above. My favorite ensemble is the dark chocolate sweater dress with belt, long gold layered necklace, shiny croco weekender bag, platform booties and black tights (total: $818). It looks so incredibly chic and sexy–I would never have guessed it was from Ann Taylor.

According to CNNMoney.com, Ann Taylor will be launching a more affluent clothing line for its more upscale female shoppers. New York and Chicago are carrying the new line, called Collection, with a 40% increase on various items. The Ann Taylor website won’t be carrying the Collection line until early October. I don’t think this will affect my decisions to shop there, especially when there are such luscious fall suits to be had!
