Britney Spears poses “in various stages of undress” for Candies for Kohl’s ad campaign

By Andrea Petrou on December 17th, 2009

It’s been a tough couple of years for Britney Spears. However if these pictures for a Candies for Kohl’s ad campaign are anything to go by it seems that 2010 could be very successful for her.

Posing in skimpy swimwear Britney shows she’s shed the fast food body (which was rumoured to have been accelerated by a dose of lipo) and it seems, her product endorsement and singing career may also be back on track.

Shot by renowned photographer Annie Liebovitz, Britney, according to WWD, was snapped “in various stages of undress.”

We hope the campaign also helps Annie, who was on the verge of bankruptcy this year after unpaid bills, mortgages on several luxury homes and tax liabilities crippled her finances, climb right back up to the top.

Sarah Jessica Parker on the cover of Vogue, June ’08

By Kimberley Foster on May 14th, 2008

Had enough of Sarah Jessica Parker this week? Well too bad because making ripples on the web overnight was her June ’08 cover for US Vogue to coincide with the release of Sex and the City: the movie. I am more interested in her open-mouthed pose. I can’t help but wonder, is she trying to imitate Coco Rocha?

More pics from the stunning shoot, photographed by Annie Leibovitz, which also stars Chris Noth (Mr Big), after the cut…

Paris Fashion Week: Louis Vuitton show and spring ad campaign news

By Andrea Kiliany Thatcher on March 3rd, 2008

Marc Jacobs kept the fashion pack on their toes, much to the amusement of Catwalk Queen’s Kelly McAuliffe. Closing Paris Fashion Week, the creative director for Louis Vuitton once again started a show uncharacteristically on time (after managing the same feat a few weeks back in New York) and had all the glam fashion mavens – big-name editors and stars such as Dita von Teese, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Kanye West – actually running for their seats.

In contrast to last season’s in-your-face colourful cartoonish-ness, the fashion press is in agreeance that, this season, Louis Vuitton is all grown-up and exuding a new air of sophistication. Playing around with volume and structure, the collection gives off a rather futuristic vibe and does so beautifully in pastel hues and luxe winter fabrics. For the full show review click here.

For more on whether or not the rumors about Keith Richards starring in the spring LV campaign are true, keep reading.
