Lily Allen gives birth to a baby girl over the weekend

A big congrats to Lily Allen who has given birth to a baby girl.

The Not Fair hitmaker and husband Sam Cooper are believed to have welcomed their first child into the world this weekend, though her spokesperson declined to comment.

However, a friend told the Mail Online website that the birth had been “all good”, while Lily’s former boyfriend Seb Chew tweeted: “sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper……YES.(sic)”

Earlier today, Lily took to her page on the social networking website to simply write: “Totes amaze (sic)”

The news comes just over a year after the 26-year-old star lost the couple’s baby six months into her pregnancy.

The singer – who also suffered a miscarriage in January 2008 – and Sam married in June, and the pair broke the news they were expecting a baby at the wedding reception.

A source said at the time: “There were tears all around. This is the happiest day of Lily and Sam’s lives and they are so in love. This is the icing on the wedding cake!”

Kelly Brook has been left “devastated” after suffering a miscarriage

Kelly Brook has been left “devastated” after suffering a miscarriage.

The 31-year-old model-and-actress – who was almost five months pregnant with her and Thom Evans’ first child – was rushed to hospital late last week but doctors were unable to save the baby girl.

Her spokesperson said: “I can confirm that Kelly and Thom have very sadly lost their baby.

“They request that everyone please respects their privacy at this very painful time. There will be no further comment.”

Kelly is currently at home with Thom and her mother Sandra after asking friends to give her time and space to grieve.

One pal told the MailOnline website: “Kelly is understandably devastated, she’s at home and she’s being looked after by Thom and her mum Sandra.

“There’s nothing you can say to anyone at a time like this – she just needs to be allowed some time alone to grieve.”

The ‘Piranha 3D’ star – who fell pregnant shortly after she started dating Thom – is said to be “inconsolable” over her loss.

A source told The Sun: “Kelly is absolutely devastated.

“The baby wasn’t planned but she was thrilled and it would have been the best loved little girl in all the world.

“She has always wanted children and a family and although she hasn’t been with Thom long they were so excited about becoming parents.

“Now all those dreams are shattered and poor Kelly is inconsolable. Thom is being a tower of strength to her but he’s grieving too.”

Victoria and David Beckham shocked at baby girl news

David Beckham was shocked to find out his wife Victoria Beckham is expecting a girl because doctors originally told them they were having a boy.

The soccer star – who already has three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz with the fashion designer – revealed he and Victoria assumed they would be adding another boy to their brood this summer and were overcome with emotion when they discovered they would be having a daughter.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show, he said: “When you’ve had three boys you just kind of assume that you’re going to have another one. Funnily enough, when we went to have the three-month scan they [the doctors] said, ‘Oh, it looks like a boy.’

“We were, like, ‘Oh, OK, great. Almost like a five-a-side (soccer) team.’ And then we went back and they were like, ‘Actually, it’s a girl.’ The emotion hit us [then]. It’s amazing.”

David, 35, and 36-year-old Victoria – who is five months pregnant – are not the only ones who are excited about adding a girl to their family, their sons can’t wait to get a sister.

He said: “It’s nice to be prepared. The boys are so excited, thinking that they’re going to have a little sister.”

Abbey Clancy gives birth to a baby girl

Abbey Clancy has given birth to a baby girl.

The 25-year-old model and her soccer star fiance Peter Crouch became parents for the first time last night and are thrilled with their new arrival.

A source said: “Mother and daughter are doing brilliantly.

“Abbey and Peter are over the moon. They haven’t picked a name yet, but they are completely in love with her.”

The baby weighed in at 7lbs 9oz.

Peter, 30, is said to be looking forward to celebrating his daughter’s birth with his Tottenham Hotspur teammates.

One pal said: “The Spurs boys have been texting him congratulations – and promising to help him wet the baby’s head.”

Abbey – who has been in a relationship with Peter for five years and got engaged almost two years ago – is likely to be surprised by the gender of the infant as she previously admitted she thought she was carrying a boy.

She said soon after confirming her pregnancy: “I think it’s a boy from looking at the scans… it’s too boisterous to be a girl.”

The couple are thought to be planning to marry this summer.
