Bold bangles are a big trend this season, but this set from Tejani jewelry, $295, is quite unique.

The designer, Urvi Prunier, likes to add a touch of her ethnic heritage to her jewelry and it really shows in her take on the bangle.

The stack of 11 bracelets features turquoise-colored crystal bangles with a Kundan center bangle.

Old Navy enamel bangles

By Andrea Kiliany Thatcher on March 6th, 2008

Old Navy has knocked off their own version of the enamel bangles everyone from Coach to Kenneth Jay Lane has offered lately, with pretty cute results!

The bangles range from $7.50 to $12.50, and could easily slip onto a wristful of pricier pieces without notice.

Or buy a few of these to get you in the mood for spring, and start you on your way to embracing the bright color trend.

Jessica Kagan Cushman Clear Bangles

Fun jewellery such as funky name necklaces and bright plastic pieces are popular right now as they’re a great way to accessorise a daytime outfit. These funky clear bangles are great, in fact, they are so great that you are required to pre-order them for early February in case they sell out.

I like the one with tiny pink stars and conveniently you can chose which design you would like. You might prefer the one that reads, “Do you know who I am?” They’re $74 from Ravinstyle.com.

You can still order stylish stocking stuffers at Free People to get them in time for Christmas. And with the code LASTMINUTE the shipping is free, so that, you know, you can afford stocking stuffers that don’t come from CVS in the first place. We chose some sparkly bangles , $18, perfect for New Year’s Eve when all ostentatious and overbearing accessories must be dragged out and worn all at once. In the middle is the tinsel stranded headband , $24, to help your friends/sister/cool mom maintain her do in the blustry winter winds of late. And lastly a cute cozy wristlet for $38.

10 Outfits for 10 Occasions: Andrea’s budget New Year’s Eve outfit

By Andrea Thatcher on December 12th, 2007

Andrea%20-%20budget%20outfit.jpg

No, this outfit isn’t for me. It’s for Andrea Osiek who needs a fabulous outfit for a big New Year’s Eve party. We’ll get over our jealousy that her husband takes ballroom dancing lessons with her, because she needs a low-rent get up because of medical expense (hope everything goes well!). She really doesn’t want to spend very much and wants to use pieces from her existing wardrobe, so we tried to keep some part of the ensemble basic and let others speak louder. We started with a little black dress which Andrea probably already has in her closet. If not, this one is from Isaac Mizrahi for Target and is on sale for $29.99. For the rest of the outfit, keep reading.
