Zac Posen’s Fall 2009 fashion show was one of the most-talked about of fashion week. It wasn’t just the beautiful couture-level clothes. And it wasn’t only the amazing model watching, yes, Coco Rocha, Lily Donaldson, Alek Wek and Sasha Pivovarova were all there. (I’ll admit to squeeling several times.) But it was the show itself with 5 baby grand pianos on the runway played by the 5 Browns, a brother/sister piano troupe, and the glitz and glamour Posen – and we – love.

Paris and Nicky Hilton, Anna Wintour and Bee Shaffer, Carine Roitfeld take in Justin Timberlake’s William Rast

I guess I can’t judge Bee Shaffer for giggling with her mother (Anna Wintour) in between looking utterly disinterested in the fashions at the William Rast show, considering I spent half my time twittering about who was in the front row and taking these pictures. Nicky and Paris Hilton seem to be making the rounds, and this was my first official sighting of both Wintour and French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld. Plus, there was the added bonus of seeing Justin Timberlake come out and take a bow at the end. (Check out a video of the show here!)

Anna Wintour and Bee Shaffer at 7th on Sale Gala

Not your average mother-daughter pair, Anna Wintour and Bee Shaffer walked the red carpet at the 7th on Sale gala in style. Anna was wearing regal Chanel haute couture while Bee looked fresh and age-appropriate in Dolce & Gabbana. Anna even took a break from her honorary chair duties to peddle the wares, like a $5,000 Rochas gown. I mean, come on, if Anna Wintour told you something would look great on you, wouldn’t you scoop it up?
