Events: Capital FM summer ball and the Tony Awards

The weekend bought with it a range of events over in the US and here in blighty.
Jessie J and Jennifer Lopez donned the black outfits and braved the UK rain yesterday to perform at the Capital FM Summer ball.

Jennifer Lopez went for an embellished black strappy top which she teamed up with black cargo trousers before changing into a snake print frock, while Jessie J went for cropped black skinnies paired up with a sheer black sleeved top.
Nicole Scherzinger on the other hand went for a red fringed frock for her performance before changing into a silver metallic jacket.

Over in LA Catherine Zeta Jones donned a red embellished slinky dress for the Tony Awards, while Brook Shields went for a white Grecian style dress.

They were joined by Kate Flannery who went for a simple black scoop neck dress for the event.

Are you ready for season five of Project Runway tonight?

If you’re saying “what? Project Runway starts tonight?” that’s probably because Bravo has conspicuously foregone it’s traditional media blitz and non-stop marathons used to promote new seasons.

Could it be because of the ongoing legal issues surrounding the show’s move to Lifetime for season 6? Probably.

The 62nd Annual Tony Awards were held at Radio City Music Hall last night, and Broadway’s elite was out in their best to celebrate the occasion. We thought Brooke Shields pulled off the “I just had surgery on my foot and can’t wear heels” look very well in a sparkly halter-top jumper.
