Cameron Diaz has started eating healthily because she no longer felt “fine”.
The 38-year-old actress has made no secret of her love of calorific treats but realised not long ago they were not making her feel as good as she should with such an active lifestyle.
She said: “I’ve always worked out, but I woke up one day and realised that, while I looked fine, eating the way I was didn’t make me feel fine. So, you know, I just stopped eating it.”
Cameron recently admitted she has adjusted to her new eating habits well and is pleased with her new lifestyle.
She said: “I love it. I have never, ever watched what I eat in my life but I do now. I’m off the fried foods. I’m very thoughtful about what I eat. If you’re gonna do heavy lifting and you want to stay small you have to watch what you eat. You have to give your body the right nutrients and really think about what’s best for it.”

Last night London played host to two of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise, who stepped onto the red carpet for the premier of Knight and Day.
Cam, as usual, looked stunning in a silver luxe v-neck jumper dress, which she teamed up with black peep toe shoes.
She was joined on the red carpet by Camilla Kerslake, who opted for a smart white playsuit, which she accessorised with gladiator heels and a black belt. Some stars went for a more elegant look, namely X-Factor contestant Stacy Solomon who opted for a sophisticated two tone taffeta ball gown frock complete with a sash, while Edith Bowman opted for a black shift dress and blazer for her appearance.
However, there’s always one star who doesn’t quite get it right and this time we’re sorry to say the award for worst dressed goes to singer Anastacia, who went for a brassy Pat Butcher style leopard print coat for her red carpet entrance. We’re sorry Anastacia but The Vic is in Woolford, not the West End.
Rachel Zoe is best known as stylist to the stars and has successfully dressed a range of A-listers including Nicole Ritchie.
So we were hardly surprised when she hit television screens offering advice and an insight into her busy styling life. And it seems you were as interested as we were as Rachel, who has had her fair share of contraversy, as the Rachel Zoe Project comes back for another series, which will be broadcast on Really from 10th-19th May at 8pm (Sky 248, Virgin TV 267).
To celebrate this, we decided to get a little of a low down from Ms Zoe about hot trends and celebrity style.
What’s been your favourite outfit you’ve chosen for a celebrity recently?
I have a handful, it’s really difficult to chose one. I would have to say Anne Hathaway at the Venice Film Festival in 2008, and I would say Annie at the Oscars in 2009.
In Venice she wore an Atelier Versace – it was like a pale, mint-green chiffon. It was heaven. She looked like an old Hollywood movie star. Amazing. At the Oscars it was Armani. Then there was Cameron Diaz at the Golden Globes last year, wearing Chanel couture. But I shouldn’t be telling you all this, because I don’t want to spoil it! I have a lot of favourites, but it’s also what comes together with the actress – with the jewellery, the make-up, the hair. A look can be completely destroyed by the wrong hair and make-up.
What are the must-have items for spring/summer and autumn/winter 2010/2011?
I think for spring/summer it’s a lot about amazing shoes this season. There are a lot of Lucite platforms, incredible wedges and things like that around at the moment. All the designers did them, which was so much fun. Even open-toed ankle boots; so much fun. I think lots of sundresses, bold floral prints and paisley prints and things like that. I’m really loving over-sized scarves in lightweight fabric for spring. For the autumn, it’s all about layering. Luxurious layering. Over-sized coats, huge, chunky sweaters, the trench coat, tonnes of shearlings and bomber jackets, thigh-high boots.
Top Five celeb styles:
Cameron Diaz- She’s the perfect mix of California cool and tomboy chic. She has an effortless style that is unique to her. She never does the expected and always adds a pop of color to add life to any look, even if it’s just jeans and a tee. Wear the perfect pair of jeans with a bright, unexpected shoe to channel Cameron.
Kate Hudson- Epitomises bohemian glamour and has a relaxed everyday style. She loves fashion, and she rocks everything with a huge smile. Wear lots of layers and an oversized scarf.
Demi Moore- Always chic, but with an edge. She tends to favor greys and black. She lets her cascading dark hair juxtapose a very sophisticated look. Always in perfectly tailored looks that don’t overwhelm her. Wear a classic black dress, hair loose and a great coat.
Anne Hathaway- She has such great “actress off duty” style. Tends to rock the androgynous look. Has a downtown flavor by day and does the red carpet with grace and style. Pair saddle shoes with an oxford shirt and a vest.
Eva Mendes- A young Sophia Loren who exudes sensuality without trying. Loves tailored cocktail dresses. Do Eva’s street style with a hat, great coat and a pair of jeans.
While Elton and his celebrity clan were living it up at his after party event, other celebrities partied the night away at the Vanity Fair event.
Amanda Seyfried, who thankfully changed out of her bridal red carpet dress, Katy Perry, Cameron Diaz, Amy Adams (who was notedly absent at the actual Oscars ceremony) all made an appearance.
And some, including Victoria Beckham (who wore the same dress) also mixed and matched their evenings attending both.
We’ve put together a gallery of the best dressed.
We’ve been so excited about some actresses dresses this year and have been guessing for a while what each one will be wearing. One such celeb that kept our curiosity buzzing was brit beauty Kate Winslet, who always pulls off great looks at events.
And she didn’t disappoint with her silverpanelled bodice and matching satin skirt. But it wasn’t just the outfit. The actress also shone (quite literally) with her blonde locks, which she left down.
Other A-listers to grace the carpet were Twighlight star Kristen Stewart, who actually made a huge effort in a black fishtail frock. However, even this wasn’t enough to put a smile on the sulky starlet’s face.
However, Diane Kruger, who wowed in Chanel Couture and Cameron Diaz were there with smiles.

From Catwalk Queen…
It is another nod to Madonna, with a hint of Gwen Stefani in this latest cover for V magazine, starring Cameron Diaz. The actress steps out of comfort-zone for an edgy photo-shoot taken by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Reminiscent of Madge’s iconic True Blue phase, Cam experiments with short peroxide hair, fake tattoos and cone bra fashioned out of gaffer tape.

From Catwalk Queen’s Isabelle...
Much excitement at the MTV Movie Awards last night, with a bewinged Sacha Baron Cohen landing on Eminem’s lap causing an almighty furore from the rapper and his entourage. In the more genteel world of fashion there were plenty of well-dressed stars at the bash.
Rumer Willis sported an appliqué-ed green frock which complemented her hair, and Hills star Audrina Partridge wore a shimmering coral gown. Sienna Miller combined the two, in a green sparkling outfit from her Twenty8Twelve label. Cameron Diaz, although casually dressed, looked stunning in a leopard print top, jeans and violet boots.
