The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, wowed crowds in Canada yesterday as she embarked on a nine day official tour of Canada. Although boarding the plane she could have mistaken for airline stewardess in a sombre knee length navy blue number, Kate looked every inch the glamour puss by the time she arrived the capital Ottowa.
Designed by Canadian Erdem Moralioglu, the lacy navy and stone scoop-backed shift dress looked absolutely stunning. The day was spent speaking to soldiers, sailors and airmen and laying a wreath to Canada’s war heroes. Joyce Udell, a diplomat with the Canadian Government paid tribute to the Royals: “I don’t like to use the word ‘admire’ but I like her style, I like both their styles, they’re not as ostentatious as some in the royal family.”
