How to wear Harem Pants

We all swooned over Cheryl Cole’s leather, PVC and harem style trousers, when she took to the X-Factor stage to perform her debut single a couple of weeks ago and wished we too could carry off the look.

Yes, we know her outfit wasn’t exactly everyday high street wear but, her harem trousers have made a huge splash in the recent weeks, with many stores pushing these as a hot new trend.

We know at some point we’ll succumb to buying a pair of these, and know you will too, so we’ve put together a gallery to show you how to create an everyday look.

CherylColeStyle.com launches to give us information on all Cheryl Cole’s X-Factor outfits

If Cheryl’s outfits have been the main reason why you’ve been glued to the X-Factor, choosing to lust after her latest outfits (although we’re not sure about her silver number on Sunday night), rather than the contestants, then you’re in luck.

CherylColeStyle.com is a new website which, although isn’t official, aims to help those who are inspired by Cheryl Cole’s style and want to achieve her look.

The core feature of the website is the ongoing blog commentary provided by a team of ‘style experts’ for the duration of the Live Shows of X Factor 2009.

The team will help those trying to locate the high-end designer original or high-street ‘lookalikes’ of the X Factor outfits worn by Cheryl, as well as offering constructive tips relating to other ‘style’ aspects. This includes advice on how to maintain perfect eyebrows, achieve stunning nails and get fabulous legs like Cheryl.

In addition to the blog commentary, there is also a series of lookbooks with ‘skinted’ and ‘minted’ versions of how to get the ‘Cheryl look’. We know which option we’ll be going for.

We’ve written a lot about Cheryl Cole in the past few weeks here at ShinyStyle and it’s sometimes easy to forget about her equally as gorgeous X-Factor colleague Dannii.

Never one to fade from the spotlight, the Aussie pop princess has upped the anti with a sleek new look that has won her the X-Factor.

Accessories have played a major part in her glam transformation and now you get a similar look (well to her watch anyway,) with this piece by Storm Watches.

Cheryl Cole gets crowned as the new face of L’Oreal

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love Cheryl Cole.

Her style is usually spot on and she’s disgustingly gorgeous.

So it’s hardly come as any surprise that she’s been given the new face of L’Oreal crown, well, it was only a matter of time.

Cheryl joins the likes of other celebrities who have modelled for the brandl including Beyoncé, Linda Evangelista and Jennifer Aniston but she’s the first British woman to grace the brand since Kate Moss in 1998.

She’ll be the face of a hair product called Elvive Full Restore 5, which will hit the shops next month.

Hmm, now we don’t like to judge but we think she may have to sort out her current hair colour before then.

She may be a style queen but that cherry look is really not screaming she’s worth it at the moment.

Get the look: Cheryl Cole’s X Factor outfits

It’s that time of the year again, festivals, barbeques and the X Factor.

Landing on our TV sets tomorrow, the show will be keeping us at home every Saturday, while we sit hooked, watching the singers and the outfits Cheryl will be wearing that week.

Now we can’t help with the singing but we can do something with the style. We’ve been given a sneak preview of one of Cheryl’s outfits and, as always, she looks disgustingly gorgeous.

We see what similar pieces there are out there on the high street and have a guess at the other styles she may be wearing this year.
