We know that this pink packs quite a pop, but if we were lounging at a resort somewhere we like to picture ourselves in something bright and fun. These satin peep toes are $550 and also come in yellow. If you’re looking for something more real-world appropriate there are plenty of options in Bergdorf Goodman’s selection of Louboutin resort shoes.
Not to be outdone, Saks Fifth Avenue has an exclusive video on Louboutin’s spring collection.

Net-a-Porter has a sale going on with up to 60% off, which actually makes some of their designer duds affordable to those of us who can’t shop the runway. Plus, their new $12 ground shipping makes it easier, too. Whenever we hear of a Net-a-Porter sale, or pretty much any sale really, the first place we look is at the shoes. So here’s our top five picks from the sale.

We’ve been known to already have the holiday music station playing in our car, so we’re irresistibly drawn to anything that plays into our festive mood like these cherry red Alexander McQueen round-toe pumps. A hidden platform and seam down the back give these an old Hollywood feel. The $540 shoes are on sale for $324.

Last night at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, there was quite an array of flashy sequined and jeweled dresses from black to silver to gold. Alicia Keys looked very sexy in a little black and gray sequined and beaded dress with patent leather criss-cross straps in the back. Ashley Tisdale dazzled the red carpet in a just-below-the-knew silver sequin number, and Vanessa Hudgens was radiant in a gold sequined dress with cuff and box clutch to match. Continue over to the jump for more AMA red carpet coverage.

Angelina Jolie stayed cool as a cucumber Sunday at the European premiere of her new movie Beowulf, despite a few wardrobe malfunctions that might send lesser stars into a tizzy. The cold London breeze may have had some effect when her leather pants began to split down the back. Ever the loving hubby, Brad Pitt covered the offending seam with his hand. But that wasn’t it, Angelina also stepped in gum in her Christian Louboutins! That would qualify as a bad night even if you weren’t in the spotlight of the international press. Pair that with the fact that Jolie has said she was surprised by how realistic and larger-than-life her love scenes are in the film, and Mama Jolie may be in bed with some aspirin this morning.

Reese Witherspoon paired a beautiful purple satin knee-length dress with leg-lengthening nude heels at the at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in L.A. last night. Reese was presenting during the show, and provided a perfect example of why you shoudn’t always resort to length when going formal. The satin fabrication and saturated, sophisticated color of her gown made it perfectly appropriate for a special evening event, especially with sky-high nude Louboutins. As someone considering purple for holiday this year, I hope to take cues from Reese on how to do it.

Leave it to Christian Louboutin to tap into devilish styles just in time for holiday season; this year’s debut of the Clichy Painted Pumps are a fresh take on conventional styles, a splash of graffiti for a traffic-stopping look in bold red. The pumps feature a comfortable almond shaped toe and tiptoe-inducing 4″ heels. Paired with a simple black dress by night, this one’s ready to create a scene; also available in a luscious (but plain) plum color:

With fall’s grey, but hardly bleak, outlook on the runway, along with a need for a flashy metallic accessory or two, there’s no better way to per-suede your inner shoeaholic for another roundup of heels than taking a peek at this fresh pair of Christian Louboutin’s for the season. The $895 Whipstitched Grey Peep-toe offers a generous 4 7/10″ covered heel, and a touch of silver for the metallic trim. An ideal match for your subdued fall wardrobe, it’s just another reason to stand above the crowd on your red-soled platform. A bewitching look just in time for Halloween revelries, yet classy enough to match up with your favorite fall and winter ensemble through holiday season.

The flagship store in New York City is dazzling shoppers with attractive displays—over 100,000 designer pairs in inventory—along with luxe amenities such as private shopping appointments, rotating pedestals, and plenty of space to try on a few (dozen) pairs at your leisure. It’s a trip to shoe heaven for any well-heeled enthusiast, and you’ll find more than just the average collections at this ritzy emporium. Accessories and refreshments await on the eighth floor—from Dior to Christian Louboutin—it’s too soon to tell if you might need a traveler’s map to find your way around.
