Dannii Minogue to launch dress collection in collaboration with Tabitha Webb this week

By Andrea Petrou on January 25th, 2010

It’s been a good year so far for singer and X Factor judge Dannii Minogue.

She’s expecting her first baby with rugby player Kris Smith and there are a few rumours flying around that she could be the new face of Marks and Spencer.

However this doesn’t seem to be enough for Dannii, who will be launching her very own line of dresses in in collaboration with Tabitha Webb sometime this week.

Last Thursday, Dannii wrote on her Twitter page: “I’m so excited. Having the best day. Today I’m selling my new collection of dresses – pinching myself that the dream has come true!”

Details are a little bit sketchy but we can’t wait to have a look at the line by the up and coming style queen who showed off her fabulous fashion sense in every X Factor episode last year.

Jennifer Lopez pulls the plug on her Sweetface fashion line

By Kimberley Foster on June 24th, 2009

Dolce & Gabbana Jennifer Lopez.jpgIt looks like it’s all over red rover for Jennifer Lopez’s fashion label, Sweetface in America. The singer is pulling the plug on her contemporary sportswear brand after six years.

“In light of some new company strategies, we have decided to put the Sweetface line on hiatus while we prepare to reintroduce the brand in the near future with new messaging points and an entirely new fashion point of view,” the company said in a statement.

When Jen is planning to relaunch her label is as yet unknown, but it marks the latest blow in her clothing empire. In 2007, the company shut down its JLO brand and replaced it with justsweet to be distributed outside of the U.S. This line was also closed down after only a few seasons. The good news is that Sweetface Fashion Co., her parent company will continue to distribute her brands overseas.
