Amy Winehouse’s final Fred Perry collection has gone on sale.
The fashion house announced in August they would posthumously release the late star’s designs and they are now available to buy from their website, with proceeds going to the foundation set up in memory of the ‘Back to Black’ star, who was found dead at home in London in July.
Fred Perry said in a statement: “Referencing Amy’s Fifties Americana and Art Deco Miami, the collection features an exclusive print scattered with Cadillacs, juke boxes and cats-eye sunglasses in a palette of pink mist pale blue and black.
“Under such circumstances, the usual fees and royalties and fees from the collection will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Fred Perry will also make a seasonal donation to the Foundation.”
Amy’s father Mitch has previously admitted it felt “natural” to grant permission for the designs to be sold.
He said: “When Fred Perry came to us to ask what we would like to do with the new collection it was natural to continue.
“Amy loved working on both collections and would want them to be made available. All the money we make and the donation that Fred Perry will give will go straight into to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which we are setting up to help children and young people in her name.”

Cheryl Cole owns 2,000 pairs of shoes.
The ‘Promise This’ hitmaker – who recently unveiled her first footwear collection through website Stylistpick – admits she has developed a “fetish” for shoes in recent years, and has to hoard pairs in her kitchen cupboards.
She said: “I’ve always, always loved shoes, but over the past few years, I’ve definitely developed a proper fetish.
“I actually own about 2,000 pairs – and that’s after giving quite a few away. I’m a bit weird with them. There are shoes I don’t wear any more but I just can’t part with them. I hoard them all over the house – in cupboards in the kitchen, in the bathroom, every room. There’s a big chance when you open the fridge in my house there will be a pair of shoes at the bottom.”
The 28-year-old beauty admits her opinion on footwear is a bit “bonkers” because she links all of them to memories past.
She told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “My absolute favourite are a lace pair of Louboutins. I wore them the first ever time I went to Cannes, two years ago. For me, all shoes have memories – wearing them on a certain occasion like that means the shoe gets that memory.
“If I can’t wear them again I also can’t get rid of them, because they are so linked to that emotion. I’m probably a bit bonkers like that.”

Nicole Richie is designing a fashion line for QVC.
The 30-year-old designer will further expand her work with a “cute” range of clothing for the home shopping network, which will launch in February.
A source told Usmagazine.com: “The line is cute – it can be worn by teeny-tiny girls but also goes up to size XXXL. Nicole has a great fashion sense, and she’s very hands-on.”
The launch of the line will tie in with the premiere of reality TV show ‘Fashion Star’, on which Nicole – who has a line of womenswear called Winter Kate, an accessories line called House of Harlow 1960 and Nicole, her maternity collection – acts as a mentor for aspiring designers.
The reality TV star – who was recently named Influencer of the Year at Accessories Council Excellence (ACE) Awards for House of Harlow 1960 – recently said she designs for women who are not “afraid to take risks” and enjoy having “fun” with their wardrobes.
Describing her typical customer, she said: “[She is] a multitasker, a woman who wears many hats, someone who isn’t afraid to take risks and have fun with fashion.”

Blake Lively says “it’s embarrassing” how many pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes she owns.
The Gossip Girl star is not only an avid collector of the designer’s creations – buying up to 40 pairs at a time – but also a personal friend, and helped celebrated the 20th anniversary of his collection in New York on Tuesday.
She told People.com: “They are the most beautiful shoes out there. And incredibly innovative. It’s embarrassing [how many pairs I have].”
On the evening – also attended by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Calvin Klein and Tyrese – Blake chose to wear a pair of splatter-paint snakeskin stilettos.
Christian himself was full of compliments for Blake, saying: “Not only is she beautiful, she is very talented and she’s very smart.
“One of the things that is most important for women and men, at least for me, is intelligence. Through a lot of things, she has proved that she is really intelligent and she also has this natural beauty and this natural way of moving which makes her absolutely a great image.”
Christian also gave his tips for what to expect as the high fashion for this season, adding: “A beautiful low-cut pump. Low-cut in the front and almost the colour of your skin so it can completely disappear or in black so you can wear it with different colours.”
After the party at Barneys, VIP guests headed to a private celebration at Le Caprice in the Pierre Hotel where Alicia Keys – another fan – joined the group for dinner.

Kate Moss has launched her first jewellery collection at Paris Fashion Week.
The British supermodel – who has already collaborated with High Street store Topshop and French label Longchamp to create fashion and handbag lines – celebrated the debut of Kate Moss for Fred at the iconic Ritz Hotel with shoe designer Christian Louboutin accompanying her as her date.
According to WWD, the 22-piece collection features necklaces, rings and earrings based on the model’s tattoos and an anchor, a star and a crescent moon feature among the designs.
Sold online and through luxury department store Harrods in the UK, the line ranges in price from £400 and £40,000.
Meanwhile, Kate made her return to the Parisian catwalk earlier today (04.10.11) when she closed the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2012 show – headed up by designer Marc Jacobs, a close friend of the star – wearing a white laser-cut feathered mini-dress.
The likes of Nicole Richie, Uma Thurman and US Vogue editor Anna Wintour turned out to see Kate walk the runway for Louis Vuitton for the first time since she caused a stir at the autumn/winter 2011 show by smoking a cigarette while walking down the catwalk wearing tiny leather hotpants.

Zac Posen has revealed that he is planning to return to New York Fashion Week after previously showing in Paris.
Zac, who is loved by all women for his sultry, opulent designs, is moving back to New York Fashion Week because he feels “just like it’s the right time”. The designer said: “Paris is wonderful but it just feels like the right time to show in New York.”
His previous collection for Autumn/Winter 2011, which was showed in Paris, was his trademark array of sculptural-looking evening gowns, this time in leather and metallic fabrics for a harder take on the seventies trend – I absolutely cannot wait to see what he comes up with next, whichever city he’s in.
He went on to explain the city change: “For the Zac Posen Collection, I wanted to give a different voice and focus in the international fashion arena. Obviously, New York has been extremely supportive of me and the stars were aligned to base Z Spoke in my hometown. I have learned over the past 10 years to trust my instinct, to have fun with experimentation and to innovate. I do not see this choice as a focus on Europe, rather, it’s about taking a risk, which is something that is important to do as a creator in order to evolve.”

Victoria Beckham has offered to dress Kelly Rowland for the live shows of the UK ‘X Factor’.
The fashion designer – who recently gave birth to her fourth child, a much longed-for daughter, Harper Seven – is set to send the new judge outfits from her latest collection because she knows how important it is for the former Destiny’s Child singer to look her best.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Victoria Beckham has offered to give Kelly dresses from her exclusive VB range to wear each week on the live shows. Victoria has a whole catalogue of new dresses and can’t wait to send them over to Kelly.
“Although Victoria has just had a baby, she’s always got her eye on her fashion empire and this is the perfect way to get her dresses out there. She knows how important it is for the female judges to look glamorous and up to the minute. She’s more than happy to help out.”
Kelly is joined on the panel by N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow and Tulisa has admitted she and Kelly will be competing in the style stakes.
She has said: “Me and Kelly knew they’d try and make a rivalry between us from the beginning and we talked very openly about it. I’ll say, ‘I’m well winning the style war today, Kelly,’ and we’ll just laugh.”

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have created a luxury handbag collection under their fashion label The Row.
The 25-year-old twins will launch a nine-bag line including a day tote, backpack, doctor bag and shoulder bag made from python and alligator in Barneys department store, New York in August.
The siblings don’t rely on a specific era for inspiration with Ashley revealing she is influenced by different times while Mary-Kate struggles with ever repeating trends.
Ashley said: “There are important style contributions from almost every era. Drawing on the right references at the right time is the key.”
Mary-Kate added: “My problem is not with the trends themselves but the fact that trends are constantly repeating themselves.”
Averyl Oates, buying director for Harvey Nichols, who stock The Row, recently claimed the success of the label is due to its “timeless generational appeal”.
She explained: “The label carries timeless generational appeal while still remaining directional.
“Mary-Kate and Ashley recently achieved their ambition of dressing Michelle Obama. Lauren Hutton has also worked with the brand and I think the ageless appeal lies with the fact that the collection has a crystal-clear DNA.”

It was a bitter sweet moment yesterday as Paris opened its doors for the autumn/winter 2012 haute couture season.
And the excitement surrounding this long awaited event did nothing to disguise the fact that first show of the season – Christian Dior show that did not feature John Galliano.
Instead, Bill Gaytten, who was last week named Galliano’s successor, took the reigns to show off the collection, which gave a nod to a range of different eras and influences.
Fluorescent fabrics, which were mixed with classic woolens from the 80s, gave a nod to the punk/dance 1980s era while keeping a contrasting theme, while bold geometric prints and floaty chiffon fabrics suggested a 60s and 1970s Marrakech bohemian vibe.
Then there were the clear 80s style nipped jackets and pouffy skirts, which were clear favourites for the likes of Madonna and Tiffany in the era, while oversized ballgowns made from petals of delicate chiffon were vamped up and bought into the New York era with kitsch sparkles.
Add to that some ruffles, clown polka dot influences and of course those headpeices and you have a collection worth spending those hundreds of thousands on.
See the gallery below for the collection.

Victoria Beckham says her new collection is her “girliest” yet.
The singer-turned-fashion designer says her new Victoria by Victoria Beckham range – which will retail at around $550 to $900 – features the “perfect” summer dresses that she herself has always been looking for.
Victoria – who is due to give birth to her fourth child, a daughter, next month – said: “One of my team said, ‘It would be funny if you found out you were having a girl.’ Because this is the most girly collection I’ve ever created.”
“These are the kind of dresses I’ve been searching for. The perfect little summer dress, something that was fun, something that was girly, something that was easy to wear, something that would take you from day through the night.”
The collection – inspired by cartoon character Emily The Strange – features looser silhouettes, brighter shades and quirky prints and Victoria believes the dresses will appeal to women of all ages.
She added in an interview with WWD: “Where I am currently, I like a more modern attitude.
“Also, it means that I’m opening these designs to women and girls of all different shapes and sizes, people who maybe want something less tight and clingy and structured. It also makes it more comfortable for during the day. You can wear them with a pair of flats or a pair of heels and they look great.”

Vanessa Hudgens wants her own fashion line.
The ‘Sucker Punch’ actress would love to launch a clothing collection which reflected her own eclectic style, but doesn’t currently have the time to venture down a different career path.
She said: “When I find the time and the right partner to do a fashion line, I’m definitely going to.
“I would probably have different seasons dedicated to different styles. I’m one who really mixes it up in my normal life – from the cowgirl to the bohemian to the Indian princess to the rocker to God knows where.”
The 22-year-old actress has Native American, Irish and Filipino ancestry and believes her diverse ethnic background makes it easier for her to be experimental with her look.
She said: “I love fashion. I do work at it but now more than ever I get to play with my looks, especially because I’m so many different ethnicities and I can pass as so many different things.”
