Sinha-Stanic designer collaboration now available at Oli.co.uk

By lotte on November 25th, 2009

Sinha Stanic for Oli.jpg If you fancy a bit of unusual and of-the-moment design in your wardrobe this winter, head over to oli.co.uk. They’re now stocking a Fusion range by Sinha-Stanic, a British design duo whose clothes have been spotted on celebrities like Keira Knightley, Beyonce and Kate Moss.

Prices start at £50, and the range includes biker jackets, draped silk dresses and wet-look jeans. The collection as a whole is luxurious but relaxed, and the designers’ credentials means the clothes will be an investment – but a less obvious and easier to get hold of designer steal than other collaborations like the Jimmy Choo for H&M range. This lace dress would be great for the party season (modelled by Paul Weller’s daughter Leah).

It’s also well worth checking out the PPQ Fusion range while you’re there – this is their fifth and final collection for the website, so snap it up while you can.

Gallery: we pick our favourites from the Jimmy Choo for H&M line

By lotte on November 13th, 2009

The hotly-anticipated Jimmy Choo for H&M line of shoes, clothing and accessories launches in stores tomorrow, and we’re expecting queues of the sort not seen since the Comme des Garcons collection. The excitement is completely understandable – a lot of the shoes on sale are very similar to the full-price version, which means something approaching shoe perfection.

There are also some rather nice accessories, including a statement necklace that’ll glam up any LBD this Christmas. And if the man in your life is in need of a style update, there are classic Chelsea boots and cashmere-blend sweaters. But you should probably get there fast, because these clothes and shoes are going to be in high demand!

This video from the launch party shows most of the range in action, including Paris Hilton declaring her love for (shock, horror) the pink box clutch.

We’ve put together a gallery of our favourite bits. Click the shoes below to start.

Designer t-shirts for amazing prices at eco pop-up shop

By lotte on November 13th, 2009

Luella enviro foundation tee.jpgIf you’ve already decided to buy the Pixie Lott designed t-shirt, why not carry on the good deeds and go on a charity tee roll? Designer t-shirts are definitely having their moment right now, as a number of fashion houses have been producing their take on the normally cheap classic. But as these versions usually cost at least £60 (right now, for example, you can get this very cool Marc by Marc tee for £65, while this similarly brilliant See by Chloe number will set you back a mere £105), it’s usually better value to head to your local Urban Outfitters for a cheap and cheerful graphic tee.

The charity-designer collaboration is a classic one, and this time around it’s the Environmental Justice Foundation that’s launching a pop-up boutique in London’s Carnaby Street. Open from today for just two weeks, all t-shirts cost £30, and with designs by Luella (pictured), Giles Deacon and Richard Nicoll, we’d highly recommend getting down there as soon as possible – the tees are on sale only until they sell out!

Moschino launches affordable line of accessories

By Andrea Petrou on October 20th, 2009

Moschino Love.jpgWe love Moschino, and for once it seems to love us back, well sort of.

The Italian fashion house has announced that it will launch a more affordable line of accessories, meaning us highstreet girls can get our hands on the brand.

The Love Moschino range, which includes tote bags, shoulder bags, purses and clutch bags in a range of fabrics will retail between £100 – £270 (not bag for a designer bag). We can’t wait to get our hands on one.
