Ali Larter dons dip-dyed dress

What do you think of Ali Larter’s dip dyed dress for the DKNY Delicious Night fragrance launch? I really like the dress, but am not sure about it as a fall option and pairing it with knee-high boots. The event was in NY, not LA, so you know she had to be chilly. I think it might look a little more sophisticated with some added length and some chic pumps, but Ali always looks hot so she probably doesn’t really care the proper pairings.
