Ebay is a perfect place to find vintage, designer and unique clothing and accessories at bargain prices. And just when we thought the site couldn’t get any better it’s only gone and proved us wrong.

The site has decided to extend it’s reach and branched out into selling discounted items (up to 70% off!) from highstreet store. From today we’ll be able to get our hands on bargain brand new clothing from places such as Office and Ted Baker.

And if this wasn’t enough the site has also revamped it’s whole Fashion category to include a ‘More Like This’ function that searches thousands of items to give you similar matches to your original search.

Online discounts set to soar this Christmas

By lotte on November 19th, 2009

Christmas Present.jpg Lots of us do our Christmas shopping online these days. As long as you know it’s going to get there on time, it’s a convenient way to do it, and if like me you spend hours on the internet every day already, it doesn’t really seem like very hard work.

But there might be even more of an incentive to avoid the high street this year: website VoucherCodes.com had reported big increases in the discounts made available exclusively to buyers online. A lot of the big high street shops, like Argos, Debenhams and Dorothy Perkins are already offering up to 25% off. So you could take advantage of these discounts to get yourself a Christmas outfit at the same time as sorting out presents. Very handy.

According to VoucherCodes, if you hold out on ordering gifts (or clothes) you’ve got a better chance of paying less, as discounts could go as high as 50% in December.

Alternatively, you could do what I’ve always wanted to do – wait till after Christmas and get everyone’s presents in the sales. But it might spoil the day a little: “Oh wow, you got me an IOU!” isn’t really what you want to hear when your mum opens her present.
