Yesterday we paid a tribute to Dr Martens which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary tomorrow, by putting together a gallery of on-trend boots and also a round-up of celebrity fans.
And now it seems the brand wants to give something back to its loyal shoppers.

Tomorrow it’s giving you the opportunity to snap up a pair of its most famous 1460, eight-hole boots – the first boots ever to be sold back on 1st April 1960 for a bargain £14.60.

The boots, which will be on sale at the DM flagship store in Covent Garden are available in 5 colours, but you’d better get there quick as we don’t think they’ll hang around for too long.

Gallery: Celebrity Dr. Martens fans

By Andrea Petrou on March 30th, 2010

As we’ve already said, it’s the 50th Anniversary of punk and rock brand Dr. Martens on April 1st, and we’ve put together a gallery of on-trend DM boots to celebrate.

However, we didn’t think this was enough to pay tribute to such an iconic brand, which has shaped various states of fashion over the years including 80s punk and 90s grunge.

We’ve therefore put together a gallery of celebrities wearing these shoes with various outfits to give you some style inspiration.

Let us know who you think wears DMs best by leaving your comments in the box below.

Tiffany’s has announced that Irina Lazareanu, shown, will be the face of their next campaign.

Lazareanu attended the Off Off Bowery party at Le Baron on Monday and confirmed that she headed to New York next to shoot the campaign.

She will be photographed by Michael Thompson.

In other campaign news, internet celebrity Cory Kennedy is in negotiations with Dr. Martens to feature in its spring campaign. Guess Daisy Lowe is out.
