Evidence of Evolution Green, the environmentally conscious line designed by Ali Alborzi and Andrew McCarthy showed in Los Angeles last week. Evolution, which works to offset its carbon footprint and uses only low-impact dyes, features a collection of organic cotton with original art prints. The ready-to-wear line, which began in 2004, can now be found at Barneys New York and Maxfield Los Angeles. Made up of casual separates like skinny pants, flowing tops, and slip-on mini dresses, the clothing is perfect for a beach vacation or summer morning when it’s too hot to wear much of anything.
