We heart environmentally ranges here at ShinyStyle. Not only do they help the environment but they also ease our conscious when we decide to go on big spending sprees. So you can imagine our glee when we found out that one of our favourite department stores, Selfridges, has just signed up eco-fashion range Issi, which will now be appearing instore.

The Issi accessory range contains designs from top-class artists who accepted the challenge to create chic products from materials that would have otherwise gone to waste, hence the brand’s slogan of “waste not want it.”

There’s a range of bags and purses made from old fire hoses, recylced parachute silk and reclaimed leather. However, it gets better. Not only are you helping to reduce fashion’s carbon footprint but 50% of all profits are donated to waste-related charities, with money from the fire hose pieces going specifically to the Fire Fighters’ Charity.

What more could a girl ask for?
