Eva Herzigova has become a mother for the second time.
The 37-year-old supermodel – who already has three-year-old son George with long-term boyfriend Gregorio Marsiaj – gave birth to a baby boy, Philip, on Sunday (27.03.11) at London’s Portland Hospital and both mother and son are doing well.
No further information has been released.
Eva announced her second pregnancy last October and said the whole family were looking forward to welcoming their new arrival.
She said: “Gregorio and I are thrilled with the wonderful news. Our son George is being really sweet, asking all different questions about the baby and talking to my belly.”
Eva also revealed she was keen to have a natural birth and couldn’t understand why some celebrities opt to have their babies via an elective Caesarean.
She said: “I wanted to give birth naturally at nine months.
“I’ve heard some women book delivery by Caesarean early before their due date. I think a lot do it because of the fear of pain.”
The Czech-born beauty – who was once married to Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres – has previously spoken her motherhood had changed her life and said it was something every woman must do.
She said: “I’m totally in love. I believe motherhood is necessary for a woman, it is her function.”

While other celebrities are donning long ball gown dresses in a bid to make best dressed lists at this years Cannes Film Fesrival Eva Herzigova decided to go for something totally different.
The model shunned smart frocks and instead went for a LBD complete with stunning black killer heels for the day four premier of The Princess of Montpensier.
We love this almost punk look, which really made Eva stand out and is a much more wearable version of a lot of the other frocks celebrities wear.

Models turning into designers are no longer huge news to us, because lets face it, a lot of them are doing it. Next up on the designing bandwagon is Eva Herzigova .
The former supermodel and face of Wonderbra has signed a two year designing deal with French brand 1.2.3.
According to WWD, the collection, which launches in Paris today will include 30 classic and timeless pieces including trench, nautical and fitted styles in a range of pastel colours.
Eva said: It’s a lot about the people, who they are, what they want from you and what I want to get across; this is the best match.”
And she won’t just be behind the scenes, she’ll also be modelling the collection too.
Laurent Michior, deputy managing director of 1.2.3, which is owned by Etam and already has Natalia Vodianova as a designer, said Eva will create two collections each season for the next two years. We can’t wait to see the designs.
Dolce & Gabbana’s spring 2009 girl is not worried about the failing economy – she slept through the news of all the banks failing. The designers call this collection Pajama Baroque, a slightly upscale version of the name we gave it – sexy pajama party. More Upper East Side than Playboy Manion, naturalmente. This is one line that did not pander to woes about an economic crisis and we’re happy for it because it’s also one of the more exciting collections we’ve seen.
Star power doesn’t hurt either. J.Lo, Dita Von Teese, models galore…they were all front row and on the runway.

“Valentino: The Last Emperor” premiered today at the Venice Film Festival and the man himself was in attendance along with Eva Herzigova.
The documentary follows Valentino’s last two years at the helm of the fashion house he created. The film focuses on the unique relationship between Valentino and his business partner and companion of 50 years, Giancarlo Giammetti.
The fashion world showed up en force ot bid farewell to Valentino yesterday. Catwalk Queen has reported on what was on the runway, and now we’re telling you what – or who – was in the front row.
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively was experiencing her first haute couture shows this week, and what an experience this one must have been for a novice. We think Blake looks lovely and surprisingly young in this. Of course she is young, but her look usually has such an edge to it, going for the hipster, world-weary vibe of her character Serena, this dress looks so innocent and fresh on her. We like it.
