Today’s an apple pie-loving American special as we take a peek at who’s been papped over the pond.
Appearing on the Late Show in New York were both our very own Cat Deeley and the beautiful Emma Stone. Cat Deeley was rocking a Barbarella ’60s vibe in a very form-fitting silver shift dress with very teased blonde tresses, while Emma opted for a simple black bell-sleeved mini with absolutely giant heels for an effect that was edgy, sexy and a little bit Birkin-esque. There are rumours that Emma’s been getting close to her Spiderman co-star Andrew Garfield. Watch this space..
TCA were throwing a big bash with Rachel Bilson, Kristen Bell and Claire Danes in attendance. It was a pleasure to see Rachel again – where’s she been lately? Anyway, she put all the celebrities dressed up to the nines to shame as she rocked smart-casual in a coral pink pair of jeans with a sweet floral shirt and a patent clutch. More dressed-up was Kristen, who looked sexy in a black corseted-dress to show off her tiny waist, while the Romeo + Juliet star Claire Danes looked romantic in a Grecian draped number.
Nicole Sherzinger was spotted performing at the infamous Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood for Kiss FM, looking fierce in black-and-red feathers and some scary-looking black ankle boots. Elsewhere in California, Eva Longoria was seen looking polished in simple skinny jeans and Louboutins with a shiny mane to rival our Kate Middleton’s. How does she do it?
Finally, the Disney teeny-bopper Ashley Tisdale was seen at the première for the new Phineas & Ferb film looking extremely grown-up in a sheeny Aztec-printed minidress. She’s certainly not a kid anymore!

It was a star studded night on Sunday as celebrities hit the red carpet for the 62nd Emmy Awards, and we’re pleased to say there wasn’t a bad frock in sight.
Glee star Lea Michelle wowed in a stunning Oscar de la Renta mermaid dress, complete with ruffles and a sweetheart neckline, while reality TV star Kim Kardashian sparkled in a white floaty Marchesa Grecian gown, which she teamed up with a loose updo. Heidi Klum also opted for this designer, but unlike Kim, she went for a black mini frock, which showed off those super toned pins.
True Blood star Anna Paquin kept it smart and gave a nod to the 50s in an avant garde Alexander McQueen dress, and even Tina Fey, whose style can be somewhat, iffy, stepped up looking lovely in a fitted funky print Oscar de la Renta frock. Mad Max starlet Christina Hendricks stood out in a purple chiffon frock complete with feather detailed sleeves by Zac Posen and Brit babe Emily Blunt also channelled this colour with a cute asymmetric long dress complete with jewel detailing.
January Jones, who is well known for her quirky style, didn’t disappoint with an electric-blue Versace frock with Madonna-style cone-bra cups and a mullet skirt, while Claire Danes looked sophisticated in a sparkly Armani Prive straight frock.
Black was also a trend for a few celebrities with both Eva Longoria and Kelly Osbourne opting for sleek, yet sophisticated black mermaid frocks in this staple colour.

While many of us would just be happy with one nice dress on a night out, celebrities and their bank balances can demand much more.
And Eva Longoria is just one example. The Desperate Housewives actress wowed us on the first night of the Cannes 2010 Film Festival opting for a white, bridal inspired frock to take her down the red ailse carpet.
However, it seems either the big frock got the best of her or she just wanted to show off as she was snapped at the Robin Hood after party in a gold metallic short dress.
Despite our bridal jibes we think she looked lovely in both frocks, but we’re leaning towards the gold one for our favourite.
Let us know which one you prefer by leaving your comments below.
The Screen Actor’s Guild Awards are officially underway, but we’re still focusing on the red carpet. There were some beautiful dresses (we’re expecting headlines like white hot! and citrus style!) but overall we’re a little underwhelmed. What do you think? Check out our gallery (and more to come!) and tell us in the comments.

Reem Acra dressed a bevy of ladies on the red carpet of the Golden Globe awards, including Olivia Wilde (House), Rumer Willis (Miss Golden Globe) and Eva Longoria, above. Wilde’s and Willis’ dresses are a bit similar, the same purple color family even. But Eva Longoria really stands out in a more structural red gown.

Way at the bottom of a long article on the legal disputes surrounding season six of Project Runway, WWD revealed some interesting tidbits about the sixth season, which just wrapped filming in L.A.
We can look forward to guest judges like Rebecca Romijn, Eva Longoria and Lindsay Lohan - some of the show’s biggest celeb names yet. But what of big designer names? Hopefully the left coast relocation hasn’t put the kibosh on more industry-insider guests.
What won’t we see? Too much of Nina Garcia or Michael Kors, according to reports.
Eva Longoria chose this Gustavo Cadile dress for the announcement of the 2008 ALMA Awards Nominees with hubby Tony Parker.
Lace has certainly been a trend this season, but does Longoria pull it off?
We’re thinking either the lace panel at the collar or the frilly lace ruffles at the bottom, but both may be a bit too much.
How about you? Our comments are in a twist but we can’t bear not hearing from you any longer, so please email answers to Andrea@shinymedia.com!
