What’s there really to do on President’s Day but read magazines? A few of our favorite ladies graced the covers of the top glossies. Currently doing the publicity rounds for their new film The Other Boleyn Girl, Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman hit the cover for March’s issue of W. Shot by Steven Klein, both ladies are wearing Miu Miu. They both look okay, but honestly we prefer Miu Miu’s ads with Kirsten Dunst.

Eva Longoria was recently out shopping in L.A., no surprise there. And what was on her arm? The Alexis Hudson Madeline bag in bark snake, $780. Other celebs seen with Alexis Hudson bags include Jessica Biel, Katherine Heigl, Cindy Crawford, and Heather Graham. The big surprise in this picture, however, Eva Longoria shops at Express?

Last night at the Bambi Awards in Duesseldorf, Germany, Katie Homes looked fetching on the arm of Tom Cruise in a black sleek floor-length strapless sweetheart gown with bronze sequin cover. And her hair and makeup look gorgeous. Eva Longoria looks very elegant, as well, in a floor-length two-tone red satin gown. They were all fabulous, but my ultimate favorites were Angelina Jolie’s and Zahara Jolie-Pitt’s matching white Valentino Histoire bags ($1695 at Bergdorf Goodman), Eva Longoria’s Prada snakeskin frame bag, and Ashley Olsen’s Fendi crocodile tote. Angelina’s bag is listed above, but to get chic designs just like Eva’s, Instyle suggests you try New York & Company’s City Skins handbag tote for $34.95. A similar find to Ashley’s is the Helen Welsh ‘Large Croco Square’ shopping bag from Nordstrom for $198.
