X-Factor fashion face off: Nicole Scherzinger vs Cheryl Cole

We’ve had our heads up in the London Fashion Week clouds over the past few days, getting all excited  about all the Spring/Summer 2011 designs.

However, with the stages being packed up and put away until February, we’ve put our dreams of that SS2011 Burberry jacket and David Koma dress on hold until next year to concentrate on what’s currently going on in the fashion world.

And what better way to land back on fashion earth than with an X-Factor Fashion Face off between Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Cole.

If we’re honest we didn’t think anyone could stand out or be more stylish than the resident X-Factor judge but that  all changed when Nicole stepped into the guest judge seat, and also filled in for poor Chezza who was ill with Malaria.

The Pussy Cat Doll went for three different outfits for her stint, two of which were by Ms Victoria Beckham.  We were blown away by the grey structured round neck number Nicole wore on the first day, and then again by the black ruffled frock she wore the next day. Both fitted dresses showed off  her toned figure, but showed you really need to be a gym bunny to pull off a VB design. Nicole’s next outfit, a red dress was equally as stunning.

Although Cheryl goes for tight dresses, her X-Factor style so far has been a little bit more casual than Nicole’s. She’s opted for tight skinny jeans, 50s style frocks and skirts with cute bow blouses. She’s also taken a few risks with crochet.
