We wrapped up $20 gifts under $200 and are on to the $50-$100 price range. The first thing we looked for? A fab coat for gifting to your favorite girl. We like this Gap plaid belted coat, on sale for $94.99, because the plaid can be a little holiday, a little preppy or a little indie depending on the giftee’s style. It’s a little something different for the girl who usually sticks to pea coats.

Nothing gives away a college or 20-something wardrobe faster than a lack of sophisticated sleepwear. Sure, it can be the last thing you want to spend money on if no one (or only one person who is supposed to love you no matter what) sees you in it. But searching for lovely lace nightgowns or playful pajamas can be addictive.

You can still order stylish stocking stuffers at Free People to get them in time for Christmas. And with the code LASTMINUTE the shipping is free, so that, you know, you can afford stocking stuffers that don’t come from CVS in the first place. We chose some sparkly bangles , $18, perfect for New Year’s Eve when all ostentatious and overbearing accessories must be dragged out and worn all at once. In the middle is the tinsel stranded headband , $24, to help your friends/sister/cool mom maintain her do in the blustry winter winds of late. And lastly a cute cozy wristlet for $38.
I’m a big fan of tights; they keep me warm in winter, hide a multitude of pasty-white sins, and more. And obviously, fashion’s fickle ways have been holding on to tights and leggings for a while now. But now that Carrie Bradshaw is known to be wearing thigh-high tights, the trend has taken a turn. But, I have to admit a certain asthetic appeal – and Free People must agree because they have a ton of options for fall. Get the details on our favorites, above, after the jump.
