L.A. Fashion Week: Nicholai by Nicky Hilton

Nicky Hilton debuted another collection from her Nicholai by Nicky Hilton line at L.A.Fashion Week yesterday in front of a crowd which included her famous family: Rick, Kathy, and Paris Hilton, as well as Paris’ boyfriend Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden (pics after the jump.)

Joel Madden and Nicole Richie design baby clothes

Joel Madden seems to let his design aesthetic follow his lifestyle. His first line, consisting mostly of T-shirts, under the Madden name was just rock and roll gear sold out of a van or at merch tables at the concerts his band Good Charlotte played. Then as he and brother/guitar player Benji started hitting the Hollywood circuit and playing disco (ahem, selling out, what?) they developed the more expansive DCMA Collective line. Now that he’s having a baby with girlfriend Nicole Richie, they’re designing baby clothes. Catwalk Queen has all the details.

Rockers to design tees for H&M

Fashionista has been reading her Swedish lifestyle magazines lately, and discovered this article about a celebrity-designed T-shirt line to be put out by H&M to benefit YouthAIDS. The Cardigans and Chicks on Speed designed the tops at left, and other contributors include Jade Jagger, Good Charlotte, and the Scissor Sisters. Hopefully the shirts will be available here sometime in the new year.
