Celebrity Style

Trust me, trying to be fashionable while you’re pregnant is like trying to give a cat a bath — it most likely ain’t going to happen.
And, yes, while there are more fashionable maternity clothes out there than in years past, I’ve found it hard to find a good fit as well as an outfit that looks cute on the hanger.
Most days I just end up opening my closet and looking longingly at my pre-pregnancy jeans — kind of makes that old statement “a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear” actually true.

Gwen Stefani is sitting pretty among female musicians who also have contemporary fashion or accessories lines.
According to a poll conducted by Los Angeles-based E-Poll Market Research, Stefani has the most overall appeal, with 57%. She beat out Mandy Moore, Beyonce Knowles, and Jennifer Lopez who took the 2nd through 4th spots respectively.

Forgive us, but we kind of thought L.A.M.B. handbags were already high end.
But apparently we were wrong because the brand is set to launch a Black Label named Aston with bags ranging from $525 to $1,495.

Zara over at The Bag Lady found this L.A.M.B. Jolie tote and now we’re lusting after it too.
It’s rare that a bag is so perfect for work while so stylish at the same time. But if anyone could do it, it’s L.A.M.B. creator Gwen Stefani. Can’t you just see her going to a record label meeting with this?
The tote features contrast piping, buckle details, leather trim, and handle or strap options. Check it out at Shopbop for $675.

At Anna Sui’s spring show, attendees were given a T-shirt in their gift bags that had an Old West style wanted poster printed on it with the words “Forever Wanted,” an image of the owners of Forever 21, and the Bible quote, “Thou shalt not steal.” The shirts were in reference to the lawsuit Sui has pending against Forever 21. Sui claims that the retailer has been copying her looks since 2005 without her permission. Other designers, like Diane von Furstenberg and Gwen Stefani, are in litigation with the store as well, and are lobbying congress, trying to get a bill passed protecting their designs under copyright laws.

New York Fashion Week - Gossip
By Andrea Thatcher on September 7th, 2007

After two years, Gwen is finally back at the New York tents. As a long-time No Doubt/Gwen Stefani fan, I would expect nothing less than a runway filled with houndstooth, snow leopard, bold black-and-white graphics and Rasta influence abound…but somehow my first L.A.M.B fashion show was more about her than the actual clothes. I pondered this as I just stared at Gavin holding little Kingston while sitting in the front row next to P. Diddy. I then realized that that was exactly it. L.A.M.B is Gwen Stefani. She pours her soul and actual self into her line and it completely shows. Gwen is houndstooth, snow leopard, bold black-and-white graphics and she is most definitely influenced by Rasta tones (as proven by No Doubt’s Rock Steady album).
