Miranda Kerr has been working out for the past six months to get in shape for the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion show.
The stunning model – who gave birth to son Flynn in January – admits she’s been exercising hard so she is in her best shape for the prestigious annual show, which takes place next month.
Miranda – has been chosen to wear this year’s $2.5 million ‘Fantasy Bra’ – told fashionista.com: “This is something I’ve always wanted to do. I do yoga. That’s something I consistently do as well as Pilates. So I’ve been doing that for the past six months. But I’ve been doing more squats because you gotta get that booty up – you really can’t hide anything when you’re up there on that runway – you’ve got cameras coming at you from every angle.”
The bra has 3,400 gems hand-stitched into the it and took more than 500 hours to make. The piece of lingerie contains diamonds, pearls, citrines and aquamarines and a tassel centrepiece comprised of two 8-carat white diamonds and two yellow 14-carat diamonds.
The 28-year-old beauty said after being chosen: “It’s such an honour to wear the bra! And it’s such a piece of artwork! It’s absolutely stunning – it kind of feels a little mermaid-like – but I can’t believe I’m wearing $2.5 million on my chest.”
Jennifer Aniston stays in shape by working out on a spin bike at home.
The gorgeous ‘Friends’actress has is such a fan of the high intensity workout that she has had one of the specially designed bikes which simulate riding a road bike installed in her home and even phone calls from family and friends won’t keep her away from it.
She said: She said: “The best quick sweat for me is getting on the spin bike. I can pump it up! The time goes by so quickly too. And it’s great when I need to make phone calls. I just put on what I call my Janet Jackson headpiece and I’m all set!
“I work out and eat well. Sleep is important. I try to get it at least eight hours a night.”
Jennifer also revealed her secret beauty weapon is Dr Hauschka moistuiriser and lip gloss and she doesn’t go anywhere without them.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “Dr Hauschka lip balm is definitely a staple. I grew up using Dr Hauschka moisturiser and I always try to incorporate that into whatever skin regime I’m doing.”
However, although she exercises regularly, Jennifer admitted Mexican food and burgers are her food weaknesses, and she sometimes loves to indulge in white peaches with string cheese.
Twilight starlet Ashley Greene often trails behind co-star Kirsten Stewart when it comes to fashion, but we’ve got a not so secret style crush on this starlet.
Unlike her vampish character Ashley is a classy lady when it comes to the red carpet making shift dresses in black and white her trademark look. However, she’s also not afraid to experiment with on-trends colours such as reds and nudes often appearing in these on high profile award occasions. When she’s not deliberately in the limelight the starlet goes for a more casual look of jeans.
She’s often snapped out in her gym gear presumably after a work out or a run. We shine the spotlight on Ashley Greene.
Jennifer Lopez is “terrified” about the idea of working out every day for the rest of her life.
The singer-and-actress had been exercising five times a week to get her in shape for a music video but says she would never want to always be that dedicated as it can take over everything.
Speaking ahead of the shoot, Jennifer said: “It’s not always like this though. The thought of working out every day for the rest of my life terrifies me.”
The 41-year-old beauty also said she has a different attitude to her body since getting older and becoming a mother to her three-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
She told Stylist magazine: “Having the twins changed my body. It feels different on the inside as well as the outside. The texture of my muscles has even changed.
“I feel like I’ve hit my stride in my 40s. In my 20s I knew nothing about taking care of my body but now I’m 41, I feel like this is the age. I think women are looking after themselves more than ever. And we’re also not allowing people to write us off either.”
Tyra Banks gets up three hours early so she has time to work out and put on her make-up.
The 37-year-old model-and-television presenter is currently studying at Harvard Business School and admitted she rises at 4.45am in order to get ready to meet her study group at 7.30am every morning.
She explained: “I have to work out and eat breakfast beforehand and get ready and be a female. But in the end, I never would have had it any other way. I have made life-long friends among my classmates.”
Meanwhile the busy entrepreneur has today (15.03.11) launched her own beauty and style website, TypeF, where women can input their vital statistic and every time they log on, are greeted with content matched to their physical characteristics
Tyra explained to USA Today: “We decided to keep a blank slate for women to fill in what that F means to them. It’s done with humor and fun. It’s a very specific voice. TypeF is saying, ‘No, you are good enough. You deserve to wear that trend too.’”
Earlier today, I told you about my trials and tribulations with gym motivation and gave those of you who have the same problem some celebrity inspiration.
However, once that motivation comes there’s another problem and that’s what to wear on that treadmill or cross-trainer. A few decades ago and it would have been simple to stroll into the gym in creased trackie bottoms, a long tee and trainers, which looked as though they’d followed Forest Gump around the world.
However, with exercise now becoming a “fashionable” part of life, plus it’s celeb following, this has now changed. Celebrities have been snapped in a range of gym outfits from the sensible sports leggings to more stylish get ups such as printed tees, designer trackie bottoms and of course bang up-to-date bright trainers.
So I’ve decided it’s time to ditch that traditional sportswear and give my fellow buddies some celebrity style gym fashion. It may not be the most practical, but at least you’ll look like a fashionista when you’re panting along that treadmill.
Ah the gym. If, like me, you’re heading there in a bid to fight off that post-holiday bulge, or just getting into shape for your upcoming holiday, you’ll know that actually motivating yourself to go can be hard.
The early morning promises give way to that extra hour in bed, while that after work session is replaced with a pint or glass of wine.
However, I’ve decided to take some inspiration from those toned celebs who are always snapped going in and out of the gym, annoyingly without a hair out of place and a face that’s clear rather than bright red in a bid to actually get myself onto the cross trainer.
Serial gym goers include Twilight star Ashley Greene, who is often spotted going in or out of hers looking bang on sporty trend in leggings, a crop top and of course stylish trainers, while Hilary Duff opts for baggier trackie bottoms for what seems to be her daily workouts. And it also seems Miley Cyrus has taken a leaf of of Hilary’s sporty fashion book, opting for a similar style.
Across the pond Christine Bleakley also opts for the sporty leggings look, with that ultimate sport outfit accessory, the bottle of water.

January is the month where many of us vow to get fit, or look at quick fix solutions to banish and hide that post Christmas bulge.
If you’re someone who has chosen to take up the first option and sign up to the gym, then you’ll know the importance of having proper sportswear instead of using those old tracksuit bottoms, which have a habit of falling down every two minutes (or is that just me?).
There is a range of good and fashionable fitness wear in the shops, however if you want to go that step further and be a designer gym bunny, there’s only one collection to buy. Yes, you’ve guessed it, Stella McCartney’s Adidas range.
We got quite excited when we saw a glipse of the new SS2010 range last year, which is due out in February. However, if you missed it, we’ve got a video showcasing the latest must have gym wear, which now also includes Triathalon and cylcling wear too.
Stella said: “This collection continues to be a great success, and I’m very excited to introduce Triathalon and Cycling as new categories.
“I’m always trying to push myself and this new collection has everything you need in sports today; it’s sleek, stylish and super sporty!”
We know we’ve covered shapewear quite a bit this year, but unless you know of some miracle diet (email us sharpish if you do please) we know, like us, many of you will still be showing a few signs of that post-Christmas bulge.
So we couldn’t help but tell you about Asda’s new shapewear range with a difference.
Understanding that Bridget Jones moment many of us fear when it comes to big knickers, the supermarket has launched a range of clothing with built-in shapewear, which is said to help give the illusion of a more trim and toned figure by taking an inch and a half off your waist line.
Fiona Lambert, brand director for George said: “There is no need for women to slave away in the gym or diet to achieve the perfect shape.”
And she’s quite right when a range looks as good as this. Choose from a Tummy tamer little black dress (£28) or high-waisted skirt (£16), which we think are far better value than a personal trainer.
