Drastic makeover: Emma Watson reveals her cute new ‘do

Frizzy haired Harry Potter-nerd turned Burberry beauty and fashion darling, Emma Watson, has taken the plunge and chopped off all her locks in this season’s most popular style: the crop. Once made iconic by silver screen stars such as Julie Andrews and Jean Seberg, it’s now sported by the likes of He’s Just Not That Into You star Ginnifer Goodwin and An Education actress Carey Mulligan – and now Emma’s followed suit.

The haircut is more than a drastic change aesthetically: it also marks the end of Emma’s role of Hermione Granger, as filming for the final Harry Potter has come to the end. She’ll never have to backcomb her hair again – she will probably never want to see another round hairbrush in her life, poor thing. The cute pixie ‘do has met with conflicted reactions from her fans, but I personally think it looks great.
