The ‘Toxic’ singer says she’s a huge fan of the ‘American Idol’ judge and thinks the 42-year-old star just gets better and better with age.
She said: “Jennifer Lopez is my idol – she’s so beautiful and even though she’s gotten older, she hasn’t aged at all. She looks more amazing than ever and I really admire and respect that.”
Britney, 29, also says she takes beauty advice from her mother, Lynne, and gets tips to keep her skin looking good, which include drinking water and uses lost of creams.
She told Now magazine: “My mom’s very into her skincare and making sure she has the right cream. It’s important to experiment with different creams as we get older5, so she’s always showing me the upcoming products, which is pretty cool. One of her skin secrets is making sure she gets lots of rest and water.”
Lips have gone right back to the 80s this season with bright colours adorning our pouts.
That’s right, bright lip colours are back with a vengeance for AW 2011 thanks to a range of designers including Monique Lhuillier and House of Holland showcasing this trend.
And it seems celebrities have been quick to pick up this look with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Gleek gal Jayma Mays and Katy Perry all going for bright lips at a range of recent events.

Jennifer Lopez likes to dress in a “classic” way.
The singer-and-actress says she doesn’t really go for trendy items of clothing and would rather pay homage to old school Hollywood glamour.
She said: “I just do what I feel when it comes to my style. Even though I love things that are modern and new, I don’t really go big on trends that much – I keep it classic. I like a touch of sexiness and I love glamour – old school Hollywood glamour. I also come from the Bronx area in New York and grew up in the hip-hop in the hip-hop area, so that style is very ingrained in me.”
Jennifer, 42, also revealed how she is very involved with the clothes she wears on the red carpet as she wants her outfit to “represent” her.
The mother-of-two told LOOK magazine: “I’m very involved. The stylist can bring a rack of clothes, but at the end of the day I have to pick what I’m going to wear. Although they can put an outfits together, the truth is that it has to represent me.”
Jennifer Lopez has admitted that what she really wants from an outfit is to feel sexy.
The sultry R and B singer, who has just publicly announced her split from her third mother Marc Anthony, says that she needs to feel both comfortable and sexy at the same time.
She said: “I’m a mom. I work. I want comfort. But I want to feel sexy and modern. I think most women want the same things.” I think we do – but we can’t pull it off the way that Jen does. You would never know that the woman is 42.

The On the Floor singer’s marriage had been in trouble for some time before the couple announced they were splitting last Friday (15.07.11), with one friend saying Jennifer was ready to leave at Christmas last year. The source told Star magazine: “Jen told him she wanted out of the marriage late last year, but he begged her to stay.
“She stayed, but she was miserable until finally she couldn’t take it anymore.”
It has also been reported the couple nearly split in 2009, over Marc’s alleged affair with an airline stewardess. Another source told Us Magazine: “Jennifer was going to leave him then, but Marc begged her to stay.
“They went to marriage counselling and she decided to give it another shot. He was someone she truly loved.”
Marc’s spending habits are also said to have caused problems for the pair – said to be worth $250 million – during their seven-year marriage, with him owing $3.4 million in taxes for last year.
Despite her marriage woes, Jennifer, 41, pulled out all the stops last night for a performance at a private wedding party in Ukraine – for which she reportedly received a $1 million fee.
The singer performed a string of hits for the son of Azam Aslamov, a Uzbek oil tycoon, and his guests at the $15million wedding. As she took to the stage, she said: “Are you happy? I am happy, because I am here with you today!”
Jennifer is expected to take primary custody of her children with Marc, three year old twins Max and Emme, with friends saying she is planning to throw herself into her work as an actress and singer.
Jennifer Lopez earned a reported $1 million for performing at a wedding in the Ukraine.
The singer-and-actress – who, last week, announced her seven-year marriage to Marc Anthony was over – flew into the Ukraine yesterday morning, to perform at the nuptials of billionaire Serhiy Taruta’s daughter in the evening.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “He’s a wealthy guy who wanted J.Lo and was willing to pay top dollar.”
Following her separation with Marc, friends close to Jennifer – who has three-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with the Latino singer – she has thrown herself into work as it is helping her cope.
One pal said: “She is jumping back into work and being a mom with all her energy and she is really excited. She feels like she has grown leaps and bounds and is a new person now, better than ever!”
Both Jennifer and Marc – who married in 2004 – admit it was a “difficult decision” to end their relationship.
They said in a statement: “We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.
“It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will go ahead with their joint fashion line despite their recent split.
The couple – who announced their separation last week – have signed a deal to create a clothing and accessories line for Kohl’s with Tommy Hilfiger which will launch in September and although their designs were set to be a collaborative effort, Jennifer will now work on the women’s collection while Marc will work on the menswear.
A spokesperson told WWD: “The Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony brands have always been positioned as two separate, distinctive collections that offer high-quality contemporary style for men and women, and we look forward to a successful September launch.”
Rick Darling, of LF USA, which sub-licenses the singers’ brands to Kohl’s, added: “We have two separate agreements with Jennifer and Marc and always intended to have separate lines. [Their split] doesn’t impact the agreements in any way.”
Although Jennifer’s first fashion collaboration Sweetface with Tommy’s brother Andy Hilfiger was a failure, he believes this will be a success because the singer has more control.
Tommy said: “The difference this time around is that Jennifer is fully engaged with a company that is professionally staffed to really develop anything she wants, from towels to knee-high suede boots. Literally, her wish is their command.”

Jennifer Lopez has had to shell out $6,000 to clean her swimming pool after her son did a poo in it.
The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker – who has three-year-old twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony – had to pay to have her pool professionally cleaned after Max had an accident while potty training at the couple’s California home.
Marc explained: “He had an accident in the pool and it got into the filter system and they charged us to clean it. That was expensive. He took a $6,000 dump in the pool.”
The Grammy Award-winning singer – who recently celebrated his sixth wedding anniversary with Jennifer – revealed while potty training is in “full force”, the twins have worked out ways to trick their parents into giving them treats in return for correct toilet use.
Speaking on Jay Leno’s US chat show, he added: “Potty training is in full force, but they figure out things. I don’t know how they do it.
“Every time they use their potty we give them a lollipop. Then a few days passed and we ran out of lollipops. I’m like ‘You should probably get them checked out if they’re using the potty that much.’ “
Jennifer Lopez is to launch her new fragrance on the Home Shopping Network on July 2.
The singer-and-actress will appear on the channel for eight hours – during which she will answer calls from fans – to promote her 17th scent Love & Light.
According to a Coty spokesperson, the perfume will combine “luminous florals with her sensual signature of luxurious woods,” and is a follow-up to last year’s Love & Glamour fragrance.
The perfume comes packaged in a bottle inspired by the curves of a woman, with a pearlescent finish and pale mint and gold accents, while a jewel-like cap aims to add a touch of luxury.
While Jennifer’s perfumes have all been a success, she recently revealed her first foray into fashion was a huge disappointment.
The ‘American Idol’ judge teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger’s brother Andy to launch her own clothing range, Sweetface, in 2001 but has since admitted she felt “trapped” by it.
She said: “I just felt like I never got a fair chance to do it right. And on top of it, I felt like I was trapped in a situation I couldn’t get out of, and my name was stamped on things that I didn’t believe in.”
Although the line closed, Jennifer didn’t let it put her off designing another line and has teamed up with Tommy and her husband Marc Anthony to create a fashion collection with Kohls.
The weekend bought with it a range of events over in the US and here in blighty.
Jessie J and Jennifer Lopez donned the black outfits and braved the UK rain yesterday to perform at the Capital FM Summer ball.
Jennifer Lopez went for an embellished black strappy top which she teamed up with black cargo trousers before changing into a snake print frock, while Jessie J went for cropped black skinnies paired up with a sheer black sleeved top.
Nicole Scherzinger on the other hand went for a red fringed frock for her performance before changing into a silver metallic jacket.
Over in LA Catherine Zeta Jones donned a red embellished slinky dress for the Tony Awards, while Brook Shields went for a white Grecian style dress.
They were joined by Kate Flannery who went for a simple black scoop neck dress for the event.
An intimate video of Jennifer Lopez with her ex-husband Ojani Noa has been recovered.
Ojani’s manager Ed Meyer handed over the data drive which contains the footage to be locked in a safe deposit box at the City National Bank in Century City, California to which Jennifer’s attorney Jay Lavely, will maintain possession of the key and although Ed was happy to part with the tapes he didn’t want to give them directly to Mr. Lavely.
He told E!: “Now there is an evidentiary chain. Before they just wanted me to hand it over to Jay Lavely and he would just put it in a drawer. We went with a bank so people will be photographed coming in and out and there is no tampering.”
Before the tapes are locked up, Jennifer will be allowed to view the footage as will Ojani and his current girlfriend Claudia Vazquez – who had tried to sell it for profit.
Ed has previously claimed there are “about 15-20 minutes of total nudity between all the different clips among the 27 hours of footage” of Ojani and Jennifer – who divorced after less than a year of marriage in 1998 – and he is believed to have sold it to his girlfriend Claudia for $1 so she could release it on his behalf after he was banned from doing so.

While Michelle Obama has been causing fashion waves over here in the UK, celebrities in the US have been putting their fashion feet forward for a range of events.
Angelina Jolie lit up the Tree of Life premier red carpet last night in a stunning red chiffon long dress, while Lucy Lui went for a simple black pleated knee length frock for the Kung Fu Panda 2 premier in New York.
Keeping in with the black trend was Victoria Beckham who gave us a glimpse of her baby bump in a black wrap dress for Simon Fuller’s Walk of Fame Star ceremony. She was joined by Jennifer Lopez who showed off her figure in a teak sleeved bodycon dress.
Making more of a show of her baby bump was Jessica Alba who went for block black and white colours for a campaign against chemicals, while Katie Holmes really stood out in a long purple billowing frock at the 56th Annual Drama Desk Awards.
