New York Fashion Week: Temperley London grows up

Everyone who sat down for the Temperley London show expecting a girlie, hippie-chic parade got an indication that all was not the same in the house of Alice Temperley when they skimmed the program notes which named early 1900s spy Mata Hari the new muse.

And when the models stomped out wearing black police caps and leather pants, everyone knew a new regime had entered the tents. “”I’m moving on from pretty and becoming stronger and sexier!” Temperley told Style.com’s Meenal Mistry.
