House of Fraser launches Kenneth Cole New York range

House of Fraser has launched a women’s footwear range from Kenneth Cole New York with ultra comfy shoe technology.

The full Kenneth Cole New York colection includes women’s footwear, handbags, and jewellery.

And it’s good news for girls who find it painful to walk in heels, as the shoe collection is said to have exclusive patented cushioning system, called 925 Technology, which offers comfort and style by incorporating sheepskin and cushion soles into the shoes.
And it’s everywhere: From pointy toe flats and motorcycle boots to strappy stilettos and evening heeled styles.

We think it’s more than justified to spend that little bit more on those pairs of heels if we don’t need to buy flats for our bags, don’t you?

Kenneth Cole and House of Fraser team up to give us designer fashion

We can now follow in the style steps of Cindy Crawford, America Ferrara (when she’s not Ugly Betty) and Blake Lively thanks to House of Frasers new autumn/winter range.

The highstreet store has teamed up with Kenneth Cole New York to exclusively offer us Brits a taste of the designers modern tailoring, smart outerwear and refined casual wear.

The range will be available in 20 stores nationwide and online and includes the diffusion line Kenneth Cole Reaction.

We love the way the collection updates traditional trends, especially the way the humble work shirt has been changed to white poplin and re-designed with an elegant frill-fronted trim.

We also like the dresses in shades of cherry red or black, which will look great worn with cropped leather jackets with a military twist.

And not forgetting the animal printed chiffons, which transport us straight into the 80s power dressing trend of this year.

Kenneth Cole puts off return to runway at least one more season

There is definitely a feeling that something’s missing without the outspoken designer who is so synonymous with New York in the tents. His last runway show was for his fall 2006 collection.

First the story was that Kenneth Cole would return in September 2007, and then that was pushed back ostensibly to allow the comeback to coincide with the company’s 25th anniversary – in February ’08. Now it’s been delayed at least one more season to September ’08.

“We are working with Fern Mallis and her IMG team to have a Kenneth Cole presence at the tent via branding and social messaging,” a spokeswoman for Kenneth Cole told WWD. “When we feel our men’s and women’s collections are runway-ready, we will return to the tents.”
