The stars came out for Pamela Roland yesterday, including Nicky and Paris Hilton continueing their rounds. Amanda Bynes and Michelle Trachtenberg sat next to each other in the front row and looked as if they were having a great time, and just a few seats down was Kristen Bell. Before the show started I also spotted Miss Jay and Nigel of “America’s Next Top Model.”
Designer Pamella DeVos evoked the elegance of Russia with warm furs, crystal- and jewel-encrusted gowns and deep jewel-toned dresses in silk, cashmere, crepe, chiffon and velvet with gold and silver adornments.

Everyone loves a bit of Eighties rock ‘n’ roll and that’s why we *heart* Miss Sixty. The front row was adorned with young starlets including Mischa Barton, Kristen Bell and Minka Kelly – which gave you enough of a hint at who this line is targeting. Models thumped down the runway in shoulder pads (yup, really!), magazine-print jumpsuits, tough leather jackets, and too-tight-for-words acid wash jeans. Leggings were virtually painted on the models’ legs in loud prints and for a bit of warmth they were matched with fluffy wraps and coats. But keep your eyes peeled for the shoulder pads – srsly!
Fashion month may be over, but there’s still plenty of new fashions walking down the runway in L.A. Today was day two of Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios and we’ve created a gallery of some of the best looks so far. In addition to runway pics, we’ve included some celeb shots from events like the 5th Annual Runway For Life Benefit for the St Jude Childrens Research Hospital and the 5th Annual Hollywood Style Awards. See what Emmy Rossum, Kristen Bell, January Jones and Hilary and Haylie Duff were wearing.

The Teen Choice Awards this year were about one show and one show only, Gossip Girl. Once you’ve got over that (non) shock, it’s time to admire the dresses, which ranged from floor-length and hippy inspired to micro mini 80s. Kristen Bell and Rachel Bilson glittered at the Spike TV Video Game Awards last week. We’re guessing the duo appealed to this crowd because of Bell’s pitch-perfect portrayal of witty girl detective Veronica Mars, and her new role as Elle on Heroes, and Bilson fans probably remember her superhero alterego Little Miss Vixen on The O.C. But what appeals to us is their sparkling outfits! They both choose a good route for the petite: Bell keeps the sparkle more subtle in a short, strapless dress while Bilson opts for brighter sequins in a smaller garment, keeping the bottom basic black.
Last night a few stars came out in Beverly Hills for the opening of the Elie Tahari boutique in Saks Fifth Avenue – Kristen Bell, Marcia Cross, and Stacy Keibler all walked the red carpet. We think we might have actually preferred Kristen Bell in something a little more fun and flirty, a cute dress perhaps? The high-necked, long top seemed to overwhelm her small frame. Stacy Keibler seemed a bit overly demure and covered-up as well – is there a fall chill in sunny California or what? Marcia Cross, however, was spot on in a sparkly, dressy number.
