Glorious Goodwood is well underway and yesterday was a great day for celebrities as they attended Ladies Day at the event held in Cheltenham.
First on the scene was Sophie Ellis-Bextor who wowed us in a sheer tea length white dress complete with a black high-waisted belt. She was joined by Sarah Dewey, who opted for a floral dress, complete with that race day must have, a fascinator, and Beverley Knight who rocked it in a leopard print dress. And Danielle Eisenberg also made an appearance in a red shift dress, which if we’re honest, made her look slightly older than her years but there were no mishaps for Jodie Kidd, who as usual looked stunning in a striped pencil skirt, black cardi and trilby hat.
Earlier on in the week Elizabeth Hurley also made a grand entrance wearing a white shift dress, which she of course accessorised with a floral fascinator.

Ladies Day at Ascot is always a huge event with fashionable frocks, feathers, fascinators and hats around every corner. And today was no different.
Princess Beatrice in a black and white assemble and Penny Lancaster, dressed in a purple frock and matching hat joined the group of racegoers who sported a range of fun headpieces from birds to huge out-there patterns.
However the award for the wackiest outfit of the day goes to the racegoer who opted for a little bo-peep style dress complete with a huge headpiece (below) scroll down to see some of our favourites of the day and look out for a gallery tomorrow.
It’s that time of year again. Frocks, fancy hats and horses. Yes that’s right it’s the Cheltenham Festival.
We love this event, which gives us great insight into the world of dresses, hats and high shoes. There’s always frocks to be admired and of course avoided.
However one guest who shyed away from these styles was Royal Zara Phillips, who went for riding boots, jogpers and an off white summer mac. Now we know, it’s hardly fancy, but when you consider Zara is a serious rider, it makes sense. And we think she really rocked the look.
