Looks like Lauren Conrad really loves her CC Skye Lucy bag, $795.
We’re not sure if it can be entirely credited to the bag, but these are definitely some of the more fashionable and attractive paparazzi photos we’ve seen of the star of ‘The Hills.’
It looks like the Lucy is a good style and size for everyday use and running around town, as LC is seen doing.
If you can’t get enough of your B and C-list celebs and designers, well then L.A. Fashion Week is for you!
Paris Hilton is pretty much the biggest celebrity sighting you can have in L.A. and her front-row spot at sister Nicky’s fashion show (which we reviewed here)providing prime peeping.
Other actresses included The Hills gang (if acting like you’re human isn’t an accomplishment, what is?), Mena Suvari, Juliette Lewis, Lauren German, Jenna Elfman. And then there were “actresses” of a dirtier sort – Jenna Jameson and Mary Carey.
Rounding out the ecclectic crowd were Lily Collins, Bijou Phillips, Ruby Stewart and Gene Simmons.
LA Fashion Week is kind of the you-know-what stepchild of the fashion weeks. Sure, it’s sunny and fun, but as far as editors and celebrities it’s typically very c-list. But that’s been changing in the past few years.
However this year, an even bigger celeb-centric presence has meant that tensions have risen within the ranks of the designer mainstays and they’ve got the claws out.
Looks like Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port were put to work at the Orthodox show at L.A. Fashion Week.
It’s funny to see MTV’s resident fashionistas in the all-black fashion assistant uniform.
We’re sure to see footage of the show and possibly others on The Hills.
There’s no date yet for the premiere of season four. But, you can expect to watch Lauren’s Paris adventures on MTV March 24.
Look out, it seems as if we should all be dressing like mall rats if we truly want to be fashionable. On Radar’s first ever fashion influence list Lauren Conrad came in first place, with an aspirational Anna Wintour coming in at number 17.
All is not lost, fashion insiders like Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs came in second and third, but then we’re back to the reality roundup with Tyra Banks at number 4. A supermodel, yes, but one completely almost completely degraded in the fashion department. For the full list, keep on reading.
Love it or hate it, there’s no denying that MTV’s The Hills influences the fashion of teenage girls across the country. Yes, this is a little bit scary, but so be it. On the red carpet of their show’s live finale last night Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port and Audrina Patridge were actually fairly good fashion role models. Looking like the cute, barely-20-something’s they are, they all chose short, somewhat bare frocks with Whitney probably looking the most fashion-forward in her tights and ankle boots. Maybe it’s just that she’s more New York style while the other girls stick to their Hollywood, left-coast roots. You either love or hate MTV’s “The Hills.” But if you’ve decided it’s a favorite–the dramatic decisions don’t stop there. You are caught between the show’s two most controversial pseudo-celebs, Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. Whose “team” are you on? Lauren, the cute, non-confrontational beach babe? On September 15, MTV and Lauren Conrad will unleash a 40-piece collection that will launch on www.shoplaurenconrad.com, which is not yet up and running. The collection, debuting at the Las Vegas PROJECT trade show, will feature designs that represent her signature and classic L.A. style seen on the popular MTV series The Hills.
