More pieces from Isaac Mizrahi’s first collection for Liz Claiborne are now available on the company’s Web site, some even for purchase. More looks are slated to go up on the site February 15. So far we think Issac’s doing his job, creating more modern clothes with more stylish silhouettes that still won’t scare our Moms when they walk into Macy’s. The strapless dress is definitely the one we’ll see bridge the gap and pull in a younger shopper. What do you think so far?
After talking with my mom, sisters and many friends with husbands or boyfriends, I’ve come to the conclusion that guys really like getting practical gifts like socks, underwear, shirts, and ties for Christmas or any other holiday–probably so they don’t ever have to go shopping. But how boring, right? So, I’ve come up with a few ideas to get them the practical gifts they want with a slightly fashionable twist to make you actually want to buy it for them.
