Paula Abdul at the Family Television Awards

By Andrea Thatcher on November 29th, 2007

paulafamilytvawards.jpgPaula Abdul wore this slinky little number to the 9th annual Family Television Awards in L.A. last night. She doesn’t look bad–her makeup and hair look very nice and the dress is ok looking. But then I started thinking–this is the Family Television Awards. Sequined & jeweled dresses abound at the American Music Awards

By Andrea Thatcher on November 19th, 2007

AMA_sequin.jpgLast night at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, there was quite an array of flashy sequined and jeweled dresses from black to silver to gold. Alicia Keys looked very sexy in a little black and gray sequined and beaded dress with patent leather criss-cross straps in the back. Ashley Tisdale dazzled the red carpet in a just-below-the-knew silver sequin number, and Vanessa Hudgens was radiant in a gold sequined dress with cuff and box clutch to match. Continue over to the jump for more AMA red carpet coverage.

Evolution, which works to offset its carbon footprint and uses only low-impact dyes, features a collection of organic cotton with original art prints. The ready-to-wear line, which began in 2004, can now be found at Barneys New York and Maxfield Los Angeles. Made up of casual separates like skinny pants, flowing tops, and slip-on mini dresses, the clothing is perfect for a beach vacation or summer morning when it’s too hot to wear much of anything.
