Fergie stays fit by bringing her trainer on tour.
Although the Black Eye Peas singer performs punishing dance routines during her concerts she revealed she is so fanatical about keeping fit that she brings an exercise expert with her to ensure she stays in shape and even asks her dancers for tips.
She explained to People: “I brought my trainer on tour.
“I have the most amazing dancers. They do all these different things, a lot of squeezes, a lot of lunges. It’s building what you want in the derrière – working for it!”
Fergie’s obsession with exercise is not surprising as she has previously admitted she struggled to lose the 17lbs she gained for her role in the movie ‘Nine’ after filming finished.
She said: “I was eating my brains out. I ordered everything fried, full of fat and salty.
“It was a very gradual thing, getting back into it and finally letting a trainer train me. I didn’t want to be told what to do, and I wasn’t mentally ready to crack the whip.”
Miranda Kerr puts her slim figure down to following the blood type diet.
The Victoria’s Secret model – who gave birth to Flynn, her first child with husband Orlando Bloom, in January – explained in addition to sticking to an eating plan specially devised for blood type A, she also supplements her diet to ensure her body receives maximum nutrition.
She said: “I am a blood type A and more often than not I eat specifically for my blood type. I also eat low GI, high alkaline foods, drink filtered water and eat mostly fresh produce and very little meat.
“I believe it is important to supplement our food to ensure our bodies have the nutrition required to remain healthy. This is even more important if you do not eat certified organic foods and certified organic fresh produce.”
The 27-year-old beauty also revealed coconut oil is her secret key to great skin and shiny hair, and she ensures she supplements her meals with four tablespoons of the natural fat each day.
Writing for her blog on beauty website KORA Organics, Miranda added: “I personally take around 4 tablespoons of coconut oil per day either on salads, in my cooking or in my cups of green tea!! I will not go a day without Coconut Oil. It is also great for the skin and hair.(sic)”
